Prince William, Princess Kate give into public demand after brutal challenge

Prince William and Princess Kate seemed to have heard the public opinion and offered an honour to very special individual after he won hearts of the UK public.

The Prince of Wales last month had surprised BBC Radio presenter Greg James, who embarked on an eight-day journey on a tandem bike, to raise money for Red Nose Day. The fundraising activity for charity had been a brutal challenge which required Greg to travel 1000 miles on a bicycle.

Every day, Greg had been joined by a special guest and during the fifth day, the RJ was delighted to see the future king come and join him for the challenge. William rode with Greg as they engaged in playful banter.

This was met with a flood of comments urging the royals to give Greg an honour, not only because of how beloved he is for his show but also for the incredible challenge he took on for charity, which will change so many lives.

While Greg isn’t being called for a knighthood as of yet, Kensington Palace shared a “Spring Rewind” for the Prince an Princess of Wales which made the “start of 2026 so special”.

Among the many moments. Greg was included in one of the slides out of the 19 shared on social media.

This delighted the Radio1 Breakfast Show host, who commented, “I made the royal dump!”

Support had been pouring in from listener and famous faces ever since he completed the gruelling challenge.

“It’s been such a struggle at times but everyone has got me through it,” he said after finishing the final leg of the journey. “The thing I’ll remember the most is seeing the joy from everyone and pushing through the pain to get to that joy.”

Greg managed to raised £4,041,910 for Comic Relief, which supports a wide range of charities in the UK, tackling poverty, gender injustice, early childhood and development and homelessness.

England’s Brook, Bethell warned after New Zealand nightclub incident

LONDON: England white-ball captain Harry Brook and team-mate Jacob Bethell have been warned about their future conduct after a nightclub incident on the pre-Ashes tour of New Zealand last year.

The Cricket Regulator — a body independent of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) responsible for enforcing regulations — on Wednesday issued cautions to Brook and Bethell for breaching player conduct rules.

Brook claimed originally that he was on his own when he got involved in an altercation with a bouncer at a Wellington nightclub on the eve of a one-day international on November 1, an incident that was only revealed two months later.

Brook was fined £30,000 ($40,000) by the ECB and given a final warning.

He later admitted that Bethell and fast bowler Josh Tongue had been present, explaining he had lied to try to protect his team-mates and publicly apologised.

Brook and Bethell both played in the match the next day, which England lost by two wickets to complete a 3-0 series defeat.

No action was taken against Tongue, who was not in the one-day international squad at the time.

The Regulator “issued a caution notice to Harry Brook and Jacob Bethell in relation to their conduct”, said a statement.

It added that both players had accepted they were in breach of the professional conduct regulations.

Many observers believed Brook was lucky to retain the captaincy for the T20 World Cup, where he led England to the semi-finals before losing to India in Mumbai.

England’s off-field behaviour in Australia before and during the 4-1 Ashes defeat came under heavy fire, with allegations of poor preparations, muddled team selection and a “drinking culture”.

England players were photographed spending hours in bars during a mid-series beach resort break, with a video of an apparently drunk Ben Duckett circulating on social media.

England Test captain Ben Stokes, coach Brendon McCullum and director of men’s cricket Rob Key all kept their jobs after an ECB review of the tour.

Vanessa Trump supports boyfriend Tiger Woods after DUI arrest

Vanessa Trump supports boyfriend Tiger Woods after DUI arrest

Vanessa Trump is standing by Tiger Woods following his DUI arrest, with reports confirming the couple have no plans to split, though sources suggest her support comes with an unspoken deadline.

Trump, who has been dating Woods for over a year, has spoken with her boyfriend about the car crash and arrest but the two are not arguing about it, according to TMZ

She is described as “fully supportive” of him as he looks to get back on track, and there have been “absolutely no talks of breaking up.”

However, a separate source from the Daily Mail paints a more complicated picture.

According to an insider, Trump’s initial concern shifted to frustration after Woods allegedly brushed off the seriousness of the situation.

“She was like, ‘let’s solve this together,’ and his response was basically, ‘yeah yeah yeah, I got it. It’s fine. It’s under control,'” the source claimed.

“And she’s like, ‘It is so obviously not under control.'”

The source was direct about where things stand.

“She needs stability and this is not stable. If he can’t fix this, she will 100 percent walk. She’s trying to make that clear without it sounding like an ultimatum, but obviously it kind of is.”

The mother of five has previously been described as deeply committed to the relationship.

A source told PEOPLE that Trump and Woods are “in love,” though the same insider noted that Woods can be “difficult to be around” at times due to the pain he manages following multiple surgeries.

“It’s serious but Tiger has yet to look in the mirror and say, ‘You’re 50 years old and need to act like it,'” the source added.

Woods broke his silence on Tuesday, announcing he was stepping away from golf to seek treatment and focus on his health.

He has pleaded not guilty to the DUI charge, waived his arraignment and demanded a jury trial, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.
