Inside Princess Diana, King Charles rows and ‘violence’: Insider

Princess Diana and King Charles extend rows during their marriage are laid bare by a Royal insider.

The Princess of Wales and His Majesty, who parted ways years before her death in 1997, often smashed plates and stormed off during their ugly rows.

Speaking about an incident where King Charles had salad dressing all over his silk gown, former Royal butler Paul Burrell tells Mirror: “He tried to make an excuse and say, ‘Well, I’m terribly sorry. It’s, er, I seem to have caught my sleeve on the card table and up it went’. Of course, I knew that wasn’t the real truth. That was his way of saying, ‘I’m so embarrassed about what’s happening and what’s happened to this, this beautiful dinner, which you’ve set out for me. I don’t know any other way to explain it’.”

Paul continued: “The true story is that they had an almighty row, and Diana must have upturned the card table with all the salad dressings and everything on it, and stormed upstairs. The rows happened on most weekends they were together – there was plate-smashing arguments, storming out of rooms, both by both the Prince and the Princess.

He then clarified: “Nobody was ever hurt [in their rows]. There was never any physical violence. But Diana was so frustrated by Charles’ manner and the fact that he was seeing Camilla Parker Bowles, our future queen, and that she just could not get through to him.

Nina Dobrev, Shaun White’s dream home plans foiled by engagement breakdown

Nina Dobrev and Shaun White were reportedly building a dream home together before their split.

In a clip posted to Nina’s TikTok account in July, the Canadian actress and the professional snowboarder are seen inside the home as it undergoes construction.

The former couple jokes about the expense of building a home in the clip.

“How much do we have left?” Nina asks Shaun, to which the professional player replies, “40 bucks.”

“That’s it?” the Reunion star responds before ending the clip.

“When you’re getting married and building a house in the same year,” Nina captioned the video.

On September 11, news broke that Nina and Shaun had called off their engagement after five years together.

Commenting on their split, an insider spilled to People magazine that “it was a mutual decision, and wasn’t an easy one, but it was made with love and a deep respect for one another.”

Rumors of Nina and Shaun’s split emerged after the Vampire Diaries alum was seen without her engagement ring at the premiere of Eternity at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival.

For those unversed, the professional snowboarder proposed to the actress in October 2024, after a four-year relationship.

Recently, in an interview with People, Shane shared how “excited” he and Nina were to plan their wedding.

“It’s very exciting to have new aspirations and new things to strive for together. It’s very humbling and exciting, and she’s excited too,” said the former Olympian.

“We’ve gotten a lot of advice from different people who have planned their own weddings and other things. So we’re definitely gathering information and now trying to see what will work best for us in some way,” explained Shane.

Glen Powell talks about his recent successes

Glen Powell admits success in film business hasn’t come easy

Glen Powell has opened up about his recent successes.

The actor, who has been making headlines with his latest roles including in Anyone But You, Twisters, and upcoming movie The Running Man, spoke about his success in an interview with GQ Magazine.

Powell said, “This is cool. I have wanted to do this since I was a kid, and it’s awesome.”

“When you look at actors of yesteryear, if they’re hitting at 36, they look like Gene Hackman in The Royal Tenenbaums,” he added. “Speaking of masculinity, I feel like that is one of those things, the health and wellness thing, that used to not feel like guys’ owning that space as much.”

“And I do feel like the tide is gonna turn on that, where it’s a space that I’ve been really interested in for a while, but I feel like it’s also now becoming a little bit more in vogue,” the actor said.

He went on to add, “When I go back to Los Angeles, when I socialise and bring guys together, instead of just going, ‘Hey, let’s all go grab a drink,’ a lot of times I’ll just bring ’em all to a sauna and I’ll just load all my buddies in a sauna.”

“And everybody appreciates it. Go sauna and cold plunge together,” Glen Powell noted.

The Running Man is set to release on November 7, 2025.
