Angelina Jolie makes ‘dream’ come true of cast & crew
Previously, Angelina Jolie produced The Outsider along with her daughter Vivienne as an assistant, which Danya Taymor directed.
The Broadway musical was a hit as it bagged four Tony Awards in 2024. Now the filmmaker is back with a new drama on Broadway, titled John Proctor Is the Villain, whose production has been described as a “dream” come true.
The Tomb Raider actress recently attended the show as the creators shared the photos of the star on Instagram, captioning, “a dream having the one and only angelina jolie join us at JOHN PROCTOR IS THE VILLAIN.”
An insider, knowledgeable about her visit, told People, “Angelina was super complimentary of the play and bonded with the cast over their shared love for director Danya Taymor.”
Universal Studios, meanwhile, also announced the adaptation of the play into a movie with Tina Fey and Marc Platt as producers, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
John Proctor Is the Villain synopsis read, “A group of high school girls in a rural Georgia town studying The Crucible find their English assignment becoming uncomfortably relevant as they question the hero status of John Proctor and confront scandalous truths about their own community and the powerful men within it.
Victoria Beckham is reportedly hopeful that she can finally mend fences with her eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham.
According to RadarOnline.com, the fashion designer has been quietly plotting to reconnect with Brooklyn, believing that “he must be sick of being controlled by Nicola [Peltz] and isolated from his family.”
“She’s convinced she’ll get more with honey than vinegar at this point,” an insider told the outlet, suggesting that Victoria plans to take a softer, more patient approach this time.
However, things remain complicated, as Brooklyn finds himself torn between his wife and his family.
“Brooklyn’s caught between a rock and a hard place,” the source shared. “He loves his mom and misses her terribly, as well as his dad and his siblings. But he’s scared to defy Nicola, who’s very clear that she expects him to hold firm and stand up for himself.”
While the Beckham family has tried to downplay rumours of tension, reports of strain between Victoria and Nicola have persisted since Brooklyn and Nicola tied the knot in 2022.
Princess Eugenie marked 7th wedding anniversary with her husband Jack Brooksbank.
In order to celebrate sweet milestone, the Princess of York took to Instagram on Sunday and shared an intimate photo with her husband.
The picture showed Eugenie and Jack sharing a sweet PDA-filled moment.
In the caption, Eugenie wrote, “Happy Anniversary..”
Adding, “7 years and counting!”
Royal fans poured their love in the comments section with one stating, “Happy 7th anniversary Eugenie and Jack , you are an amazing couple.”
Meanwhile another added, “That’s a great photo, congrats!”
“Happy anniversary to you both what a beautiful couple,” the third comment read.
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank tied the knot on October 12, 2018. The royal couple share two sons together: August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, four, and Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, two.
