Born Again’ producer hypes up upcoming season
Daredevil: Born Again is set to return for season two after a hit season one. However, the executive producer promises that this second season will be even more ambitious and impactful.
Jesse Wigutow, who serves as an EP, shares in an interview with Collider, “It’s not a whole lot, I can say, obviously, in terms of specifics, but it is a very big portrait that we’re telling— a big New York City story, crime, politics.”
He continues, “Obviously, we have Mayor Fisk and all of the palace intrigue around him inside City Hall. All of it, I think, is really awesome.”
“What I take away most from the season — and we’re just going through cuts now, we’re about to embark on Season 3 — is that we told this really big story, it got very wide, and then we kind of drive it in the finale to really what matters most,” Jesse adds.
“I think what people care about are these two characters and the conflict that they’re in, how deeply they hate each other, and how deeply they need each other,” he notes.
“We really carve out all the stuff around them that we’ve built up, and it’s just the two of them, face-to-face, in a really, I think, satisfying climax,” Jesse concludes.
Daredevil: Born Again season two is expected to arrive in March 2026.

Utqiagvik, Alaska, plunges into 65 days of continuous darkness
The northernmost town in the United States has officially entered its annual period of perpetual twilight.
Utqiagvik, Alaska, began its “polar night” this week, marking the start of roughly 65 days without direct sunlight.
In the region, the sun set on November 18 and will remain set till January 22, 2026.
The axial tilt of Earth causes this astronomical phenomenon. In astronomy, this axial tilt is referred to as obliquity is the angle between an object’s rotational axis and its orbital axis, which is the line perpendicular to its orbital plan; equivalently, it is the angle between its equatorial plane and orbital plane.
The axial tilt of Earth is about 23.5 degrees relative to its orbital plane and is primarily responsible for seasons and varies in a cycle of about 40,000 years.
In absence of this tilt, the seasons would be much less extreme, or they would not exist at all.
The Northern Hemisphere leans away from the sun during winters and for communities located far enough north like Utqiagvik, the sun remains below the horizon for an extended period.
Around 5,000 people are residing in the neighbourhood.
Only natural light for the next two months will come from a faint twilight glow near the southern horizon and the spectacular illumination of the Aurora Borealis dancing in the sky above.
The polar night will also be followed by extreme cold, with temperatures often plummeting well below zero degrees Fahrenheit.
This period of darkness is a prominent characteristic of life in the Arctic. But, it is a temporary state.
Around mid-May,the cycle of the seasons will be reversed and Utqiagvik will experience the extreme opposite weather with over 80 days of continuous daylight, known as midnight sun.
For now, the community settles in for the long, dark winter, a testament to life in one of the planet’s most extreme environments.

Google’s Gemini 3 aims for AI supremacy with PhD-level reasoning
Google has ushered in a new era for its AI ambitions with the launch of Gemini 3 which it calls its “most intelligent model” to date.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai officially made this announcement reflecting a major step in the company’s pursuit of advanced AI capable of rivalling human reasoning.
The flagship model, Gemini 3 Pro, is available now in the Gemini app and for the first time the company has integrated it directly into Google Search on day one.
Developers can also access it through AI Studio and Vertex AI. The model is capable of state-of-art reasoning, designed to grasp death and nuance in complex problems.
Google claims it significantly outperforms its predecessor i.e., Gemini 2.5 Pro, across major benchmarks, achieving top scores in areas such as PhD-level reasoning and mathematics.
A major improvement made in this model is a shift away from “flattery” or “cliché.”
Rather, Gemini 3 is designed to provide concise, direct, and genuine insight, acting as a “true thought partner.”
It also allows users to learn complex topics via interactive visualizations, build richer application by following “vibe coding,” and plan multi-step tasks with enhanced long-horizon planning.
In addition to the standard Pro model, Google introduced “Gemini 3 Deep Think,” an improved reasoning model that gives even more improved results.
Specifically for developers, the company has unveiled a new agentic development platform named “Google Antigravity” which uses Gemini 3 to autonomously plan and execute complex software tasks.
The company also claims it to be its most secure model yet citing that Gemini 3 has undergone extensive safety evaluations.
The rollout starts immediately, marking the next chapter in Google’s rapidly accelerating AI roadmap.
