Miranda Kerr, Evan Spiegel share their parenting rule about phones

Miranda Kerr bans phones after 9:30 PM

Miranda Kerr and her husband Evan Spiegel have a major rule about phones in their house.

In an interview with People Magazine, the couple discussed how they make sure that their children grow up with healthy boundaries when it comes to technology.

Spiegel, the CEO of Snap Inc. said, “I have seen firsthand the incredible ways that technology can help people stay connected, and I am so glad that my kids are growing up in a world where they have access to digital tools that enable them to express themselves, learn and connect with their friend.”

“I also want them to be aware of and prepared for the risks that come with being online, across all platforms, and to stay mindful of how technology makes them feel. That’s why, at Snapchat, we introduced The Keys: A Guide to Digital Safety,” he added.

On the other hand, Kerr also noted, “As a mom, I’m very mindful of how our children interact with technology, from setting healthy screen time habits to also embracing the ways tech can be a powerful tool for learning and connection.”

“For example, we use Snapchat every day to stay close with our family in Australia, but we also have strict rules at home. For our oldest son Flynn, who’s 14, that means no photos or computers in the bedroom after 9:30 p.m.”

“I recently sat down with him to complete The Keys, Snapchat’s new digital safety course, and it opened up such meaningful conversations about responsible, healthy relationships with tech,” she added.

Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel are parents to sons Hart, 7, Myles, 5, and Pierre, 18 months. Meanwhile, the actress also shares 14-year-old Flynn with ex-husband Orlando Bloom.

Luciane Buchanan reveals rare truth about exiting ‘The Night Agent’

Luciane Buchanan reveals rare truth about exiting ‘The Night Agent’

Netflix’s The Night Agent will return without one of its central stars. Luciane Buchanan has confirmed she will not reprise her role as Rose Larkin in the upcoming third season.

Buchanan starred opposite Gabriel Basso’s Peter Sutherland in the first two seasons of the hit political thriller, portraying the tech entrepreneur-turned-sidekick who aided the rogue FBI agent.

“As much as that show has been so amazing, especially for my career — being a lead on a U.S. show from little New Zealand was such a whirlwind — the writers decided that they wanted to follow Peter and his journey based on what happened at the end of Season 2,” Buchanan told Deadline.

According to People, Season 2 concluded with Peter and Rose stopping a deadly attack on the UN headquarters in New York, before parting ways when Peter urged her not to seek him out again.

“We don’t get to see what happens to Rose,” Buchanan said of her exit. “But I think it’s a really exciting time for the show, and who knows, it’s not a goodbye forever.”

Moreover, the actress revealed she learned shortly after Season 2 premiered in January that her character would not be returning.

She praised the creative team for choosing not to reduce Rose’s role, adding, “If it makes sense to a story, I’ll do that. If it doesn’t, let’s not force that.”

Showrunner Shawn Ryan echoed that sentiment, telling Deadline, “We always envisioned the show as telling a new story each season with a revolving cast, and the story we broke for Season 3, much to our chagrin, didn’t have a satisfying place for Rose.”

While Buchanan has moved on to star alongside Jason Momoa in Apple TV+’s Chief of War, she hasn’t ruled out a return to The Night Agent,  “Maybe we’ll make a little cameo along the way.”

Prince William unlikely to reconcile with Harry anytime soon

Prince William unlikely to reconcile with Harry anytime soon

Prince William frustrated by Harry’s headline-making UK visit

Prince William may still feel some frustration toward Prince Harry, especially after his recent visit to the UK, according to a royal expert.

According to royal expert Jennie Bond, it is likely that the Prince of Wales was told in advance about Harry’s meeting with King Charles.

However, she added that it would be understandable if William felt some resentment towards his younger brother, who left the royal duties in 2020.

While William continues to carry out his royal duties quietly, Harry’s brief return included public charity appearances that drew media attention.

“I’m sure the King would have told William in advance about his decision to meet Harry,” Jennie told The Mirror.

“But William wouldn’t be human if he didn’t feel some resentment about Harry flying back for a headline-grabbing few days, very publicly handing out dosh to charities (which is something the rest of the Royal Family do regularly – but discreetly) and strutting his stuff…while his brother does the day to day grip and grin business of the royal workload?” she added.

Bond further speculate that a reunion between Princess Diana and King Charles’ sons may never happen.

“Time may yet prove the great healer, but where William is concerned, now is certainly not the right time for reconciliation with his sibling. Indeed, it may never happen,” she said.

Ava Raine fired over remarks about Charlie Kirk?

WWE star Ava Raine, the eldest daughter of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, is facing calls for her dismissal after a social media post she made in the wake of conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

Kirk, 31, a right-wing commentator and close ally of Donald Trump, was fatally shot September 10 during a campus event at Utah Valley University.

Tributes poured in from politicians and celebrities, but Raine, 24, drew attention for her response on X.

Quoting a post that read, “If you want people to have kind words when you pass, you should say kind words when you’re alive,” Raine added: “and I’ll stand behind this. be kind, now more than ever.”

Her remark quickly divided audiences. “And you think standing behind this is KIND??” one user wrote.

Another said she was “literally disrespecting the dead.” Critics demanded she “do better” and some urged WWE to cut ties with her.

Supporters, however, praised her candor. “Much respect Ava,” one user commented, while another said, “If only more in the company were brave to share their thoughts too.”

Despite the uproar, Raine has not been fired, and WWE has taken no action against her.
