Pakistani film wins Jackson Wild Media Awards

“Moklani — The Last Mohanas” has won the prestigious Jackson Wild Media Awards, becoming the first Pakistani film to do so at the awards, often referred to as the “Oscars of nature documentaries.”
“Wow.. Wow.. Our film Moklani has become the first-ever Pakistani Feature Film Winner at the 2025 Jackson Wild Media Awards celebrated worldwide as the Nature Oscars,” Jawad Sharif Films announced on Instagram.
“We dedicate this award to the Mohana fisherfolk, to Pakistan, and to all indigenous communities whose stories, struggles, and wisdom inspire us to keep telling the stories that matter.”
Directed and produced by award-winning filmmaker Jawad Sharif, the Pakistani film was chosen from a record-breaking pool of more than 500 entries.
According to the producers, the film highlights the story of the Mohana people of Manchar Lake, an indigenous fishing community whose centuries-old traditions are rapidly vanishing.
Produced by Jawad Sharif Films with the support of the National Geographic Society and Climate Kahani, “Moklani – The Last Mohanas” is both a visually striking and deeply human portrait of a community on the brink of cultural extinction.
Their struggle reflects the larger climate crisis Pakistan is experiencing.

Prince William issues strong warning as he talks about ‘only home’, ‘future generations’

Prince William has apparently issued a strong warning in the latest video statement, issued by the palace to announce major development.
The palace released Prince William’s video saying, “We couldn’t be more proud to introduce The Earthshot Prize 2025 Finalists.”
In the video, Prince William warns, “I sat under this oak tree five years ago, soon after we launched The Earthshot Prize. The planet, the only home we have, needed our help, as scientists made it clear that we had to make significant changes by 2030.”
“Back then, a decade felt a long time. George was seven, Charlotte five and Louis two; the thought of them in 2030 felt a lifetime away,” Prince William says and adds, “But today, as we stand halfway through this critical decade, 2030 feels very real.”
The future king continued, “The Earthshot Prize was founded because this decade matters.”
The Prince of Wales also warned “2030 is a threshold by which future generations will judge us; it is the point at which our actions, or lack of them, will have shaped forever the trajectory of our planet.”
Commenting on the post, royal photographer Matt Porteous reacted, “Incredibly Inspiring Sir, your voice and the work you are doing with the most inspirational people on earth is game changing.”

Meghan Markle sparks reactions as duchess only ‘wants to serve herself’

Meghan Markle only ‘wants to serve herself’, royal fans have expressed their views following her secret visit to France.
The Duchess made her Paris Fashion Week debut in an all-white ensemble on Saturday, according to the New York Post.
Commenting on Meghan Markle’s appearance, one royal fan said “Meghan is not cut out to be a princess in the real world. Real princesses, like Catherine, Princess of Wales, and Princess Anne, devote themselves to serving others.
“Meghan only wants to serve herself. I guess she thought being a princess meant sitting on a throne all day long and be waited on hand and foot. She was, and in many ways still, is an actress. And like many actresses, she just wants to be the center of attention.”
Another alleged, “Markle paid fans to ‘see her leaving her hotel’! So she paid fans to see her at a hotel she’s not staying at. She’s to important to herself to let anyone know where she’s staying!”
The third said, “She went from thinking she was the next Princess Diana to trying (and failing) to become the next Kim Kardashian.”
The fourth warned, “She won’t be a success much longer, as soon as William becomes king. He will wave his wand and she will be a commoner once again.”
