Robert Pattinson jokes about competing with Gen Z

Robert Pattinson says he wants to play 17 again

Robert Pattinson jokes he wants to play teenage roles again.

The 39-year-old actor recently sat down with his Die My Love costar Jennifer Lawrence, 35, for a new video interview with Vanity Fair.

The pair discussed everything from Twilight to generational labels, with Pattinson joking that he’d happily steal a few jobs from younger actors if given the chance.

At one point, Lawrence asked if he’d ever reprise his role as Edward Cullen, but only if directors Josh and Benny Safdie were behind it. “Oh yeah, for sure,” he replied.

Lawrence laughed and told him, “I don’t think you should,” to which, Pattinson doubled down, “It would be great! I like taking jobs from younger actors. I do. I want to play 17 again.”

He then jokingly referenced Zac Efron’s 2009 comedy 17 Again, adding, “There’s a movie. Zac’s movie.”

Lawrence then teased the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire star about his supposed Gen Z tendencies.

“I did think it was insane when you cold FaceTimed me,” she said. “I was like, ‘It’s crazy to cold FaceTime somebody,’ and you were like, ‘No, it’s Gen Z.’”

“As in, I’m Gen Z,” Pattinson replied confidently.

“Do you wish you were Gen Z?” Lawrence asked. “I am,” he insisted, at which she shot back, “You’re not Gen Z, you’re a millennial… but I believe that you believe that you’re Gen Z.”

When pressed about his birth year, Pattinson went on to joke, “it doesn’t matter.”

Photo: Alex Cooper makes shocking confession about Taylor Swift

Alex Cooper is not holding back when it comes to her love for Taylor Swift.

As per a new report from PEOPLE Magazine, the Call Her Daddy host opened up about her deep-rooted Swiftie devotion during the 7th November episode of Owen Thiele’s podcast In Your Dreams, even joking that Taylor Swift was her “s**** awakening for women.”

During this chat, Cooper, 31, could not help but point out a poster of Swift’s Fearless album hanging behind Thiele in the studio.

Once she spotted it, the nostalgia hit instantly and said, “I can’t stop staring and looking at the Fearless album behind your head.”

She continued, “Those songs changed my life. Like, Fearless was my era of girlhood where I was really starting to like boys—”

“Before you liked girls?” Thiele teased.

“We’re getting there,” Cooper quipped, before revealing how deeply she clung to Swift’s music during her adolescence.

“I just really found that I was such a loser and [Swift] was my connector of like, ‘He doesn’t love me.’ But I almost romanticized guys hating me at one point — like I thought it was cool that they were turning me down because then I had Taylor to listen to.”

“You were in love with Taylor,” Thiele laughed.

“Yeah, she was my s***** awakening for women,” Cooper joked.

“Sorry, Taylor, that’s weird.”

Cooper’s enthusiasm for Swift is nothing new as previously in an interview with PEOPLE, she named Swift as one of her top dream podcast guests.

“Oh my God, I would say two people — either Ms. Taylor Swift or Rihanna. Period,” she shared at the time.

“I feel like those two women have built such incredible empires and I respect both of them so much, and I would be honored to sit down with either of them.”

David Harbour weighs in on ultimate event which reshaped his career

Photo: David Harbour gets candid about transformative role ahead of ‘Stranger Things S5’

David Harbour is reflecting on the role that transformed his life.

In a recent conversation with PEOPLE Magazine, the actor opened up about how Stranger Things, which premiered on July 15, 2016, became the seismic shift that altered the entire direction of his career.

“None of that would be happening without this role,” Harbour said.

“This role changed the landscape. It was like an earthquake in my life.”

He went on to explain that the show’s unlikely beginnings and massive global response completely redefined his path.

“I mean, we shot that season. I loved it. It was so simple and kind of low budget when it started, and then people just fell in love with it and really attached to it and it just blew up in a way that I never imagined,” he shared.

“And so in terms of opportunities to tell stories and to create art, I think it’s given me more than any other role in my life for sure.”

Fans will know Harbour is set to return as Hopper in the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, which picks up in the fall of 1987.

According to the official synopsis, Vecna “has vanished,” with his plans and whereabouts unknown.

Complicating matters, Hawkins has been placed under military quarantine as the government intensifies its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding.

“As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread,” the synopsis reads.

“The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time.”
