Sabrina Carpenter uncovers shocking experience during ‘Manchild’ shoot
Sabrina Carpenter revealed the painful reality behind her ambitious Manchild music video.
During a candid appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, the Grammy-winning singer admitted the desert shoot left her in tears after a cactus mishap.
She recalled how filming in Santa Clarita, California turned unexpectedly dangerous.
“I, uh, I fell on a cactus,” Carpenter confessed, drawing gasps from the audience before adding, “It’s so easy to laugh when people get hurt, and I did. But then I started crying.”
The incident required on-set medical attention, and Girl Meets World alum said the rest of the day was spent picking cactus spines from her skin.
Despite the ordeal though, she continued the shoot which featured daring stunts including rollerblading down a highway while clinging to a truck, leaping into a shark-infested pool, and riding a motor recliner.
The 26-year-old admitted that the three-day long production demanded resilience from everyone involved.
“We endured a lot of pain to get the finished product, so please watch it,” she pleaded to the fans.
However, even after getting bruises and shedding tears, Carpenter said the experience was worth it.
For the unversed, currently Tears hitmaker is involved in a feud with the US President Donald Trump.

Taylor Swift’s fiancé, Travis Kelce broke his silence following the Kansas City Chiefs devastating 20-10 loss to the Houston Texans.
The Super Bowl Champion admitted the defeat left him with what he called ‘sh—thy f—king feeling.”
Speaking on the latest episode of his podcast New Heights with brother Jason Kelce, the 36-year-old confessed he was haunted by a late-game dropped pass that left to a Texans interception.
“Especially dropping the ball late in the game like that, when we were on our last f–king chance to make something shake,” Kelce said. “It’s a sh–tty feeling.”
Jason Kelce pushed back noting the difficulty of the play, but the tight end admitted he holds himself to a higher standard.
“I keep thinking if I show up to work, fix the issues through my practice habits, perfect the game plan and fundamentals, and play my ass off for my guys next to me — it’s all going to come together like it has in years past,” he said.
The loss has put the Chiefs’ playoff hopes in jeopardy which is a stark contrast to their three consecutive Super Bowl appearances.
“Looking at the playoffs, this is a tough reality to be in,” Kelce admitted. “Especially for how we’ve always found a way in years past.”
The Grotesquerie star wasn’t alone in the disappointment.
The Life of a Showgirl hitmaker was in the stands at Arrowhead Stadium, joined by close friends Selena Gomez and Lena Dunham as well as Leonardo DiCaprio.

‘Confessions of a Shopaholic’ author Sophie Kinsella dies at 55
Sophie Kinsella, the internationally bestselling author best known for her Confessions of a Shopaholic series, has died at the age of 55.
The mother-of-five battled with cancer (glioblastoma) for three years.
Her family confirmed she passed away peacefully, surrounded by her husband and five children.
The obituary put up on her Instagram account read, “We are heartbroken to announce the passing this morning of our beloved Sophie (aka Maddy, aka Mummy).”
“She died peacefully, with her final days filled with her true loves: family and music and warmth and Christmas and joy.”
The statement continued, “We can’t imagine what life will be like without her radiance and love of life.”
“Despite her illness, which she bore with unimaginable courage, Sophie counted herself truly blessed – to have such wonderful family and friends, and to have had the extraordinary success of her writing career.”
“She took nothing for granted and was forever grateful for the love she received. She will be missed so much our hearts are breaking,” the emotional note ended.
Born Madeleine Sophie Wickham, Kinsella’s claim to fame were her Shopaholic novels.
