Taylor Swift dethroned from number 1 spot by Djo after 78-Day run
Taylor Swift had a record-setting 78-day run with her hit single, The Fate of Ophelia, ” at the top position on the Global Spotify chart, which is now broken by Djo.
Following the finale of Stranger Things, Djo, whose real name is Joe Keery, rose on the charts with his song, End of Beginning.
The song received chart-topping success at the time of its release back in 2022, before it went viral on TikTok, and has now returned to reclaim the number # 1 spot.
While Swifties were celebrating the Opalite hitmaker’s reign on the charts, Swift herself has previously praised Djo and appears to be a fan herself.
The Runner singer previously shared that he was shocked to find out that the Grammy winner knew of his song, as he recalled meeting her at a New York studio on The Spout podcast back in 2024.
“I just happened to be there the day that she was there. And she’s really nice. I mean, I’ve met her a couple of times,” he said, adding, “She said, ‘Hey, I really love that track of yours, End Of Beginning.’
He went on to share that he asked the pop superstar how she heard the song, saying, “‘What? You heard that song? How the hell did you hear that song?’”
However, he added, “she’s, like, a music lover and she’s also so hip to new music and things that are coming out. So I guess it’s not shocking to me because she’s a big fan of music and digs around and it somehow came across her desk and she listened to it and said that she liked it. Really nice of her.”

Gwyneth Paltrow praises ex Ben Affleck as she reflects on relationship
Gwyneth Paltrow is taking a walk down romantic memory lane.
The Iron Man actress subtly referenced her former boyfriend Ben Affleck during her appearance on Amy Poehler’s Good Hand podcast on Tuesday, January 6. Paltrow, 53, brought up her brief romance with the Oscar-winner while reflecting on her connection to the late Robin Williams, explaining that their paths crossed around the release of Good Will Hunting in 1997 — a film Affleck famously co-wrote and starred in.
“I only got to know [Williams] a bit when Good Will Hunting came out [in 1997] because I was dating one of the people who wrote that movie and was in that movie,” the Goop founder said.
“We’re well aware,” Poehler joked, before praising Affleck’s performance. Paltrow agreed, adding, “I love that movie. It’s a perfect movie. I love it so much.”
It was a rare acknowledgment of her romance with Affleck, whom she dated beginning in 1997 following her split from Brad Pitt. During their relationship, the pair also worked together, co-starring in Shakespeare in Love in 1998 and Bounce in 2000, before ending things that same year.
Paltrow later found love with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. The former couple shares two children, daughter Apple, 21, and son Moses, 19, and separated in 2016. She went on to marry TV writer and director Brad Falchuk in 2018.
Affleck, meanwhile, was married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018, and more recently to Jennifer Lopez from 2022 to 2025.

Comedian Nikki Glaser describes “very delicate” balance of jokes as she returns to host Golden Globes
Comedian Nikki Glaser made history last year as the first woman to host the Golden Globes solo. She’s returning this year to host the awards show for a second time.
In an interview Tuesday with “CBS Mornings,” Glaser described the process of making jokes for the awards show as “strategic,” saying, “you have to be very delicate about making jokes that aren’t going to ruin anyone’s night, but you also want to give the people at home … something to laugh at and you want to poke fun at the people that they’re dying for you to make fun of.”
She added picking the perfect jokes for the show is “one of … the most difficult jobs I’ve ever done.”
Glaser said she is a big fan of the celebrities up for awards and said this year is a little different because she grew up admiring many of the actors.
“It is easy for me to take down like, you know, the newer batch of actresses and actors who are younger than me. It is like, OK I can make fun of you, I’m like a veteran. But when it’s like people I grew up admiring it’s … oh, my gosh, it is so much … it is a different approach this year.”
While preparing last year, Glaser reached out to some celebrities to see if a joke went too far. She said she hasn’t done this yet so far and may have a different strategy.
“There are certain people that I don’t know what I would say. It is almost like some of these jokes, you think about, OK, if I got their number, would I write them and ask them? Then I go, you know what? They might say no and I know the joke isn’t that mean, and … I would rather ask for forgiveness later at the after-party when they’re drunk,” she said with a laugh.
As Glaser rehearses, she’s found one joke that doesn’t always connect with the audience.
“I’m trying out my monologue around L.A. at the clubs here, and just even any joke about Julia Roberts, they’re not there for. You cannot make fun of America’s sweetheart,” Glaser said. “Whatever I end up saying about her, it is the most fine-tuned joke I have worked on so hard because it is very delicate.”
The Golden Globes air Sunday Jan. 11 on CBS and Paramount+.
