Nikki Glaser cut ‘cruel’ Sydney Sweeney joke from Golden Globes monologue
Nikki Glaser is pulling back the curtain on her Golden Globes hosting gig and the jokes that never made it to air.
During her appearance on SiriusXM’s Howard Stern Show, the comedian admitted she had written a biting line about Sydney Sweeney but ultimately scrapped it.
Glaser explained that the ‘too cruel’ joke would have referenced Sweeney’s 2025 box office flop Christy, a biopic about boxer Christy Martin.
“Tonight is a night of celebration but we can’t ignore that it’s a weird time in Hollywood,” Glaser recalled the cut material.
“People just aren’t going to the theater to see things. If you don’t believe me, there was a movie this year where Sydney Sweeney played a le**ian who just bounced around in tiny shorts for two hours and it made $14.”
Glaser revealed that other stars including Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, and Jonathan Bailey also narrowly escaped her sharper material.
Pitt would have been teased for playing a race car driver at 62, Roberts for her film After the Hunt, and Bailey for being named People’s Sexiest Man Alive.
Ultimately, Glaser said she cut those lines.
Despite the edits Glaser still delivered a sharp set poking fun at Leonardo DiCaprio’s dating history and Timothée Chalamet’s stature.

Meghan Markle’s quiet UK partnership pays off as Prince Harry’s trial looms
Meghan Markle snagged a massive win by quietly partnering with a UK studio as tension builds around Prince Harry’s bittersweet return to his homeland.
The Duchess of Sussex has partnered with a small, female-owned British studio for her first As Ever product release of 2026, unveiling a limited-edition leather bookmark that immediately flew off the shelves. It marked her first launch since last year’s Holiday Collection.
The bookmark launched Tuesday, January 13, in collaboration with Sbri, a New Forest-based workshop known for handcrafted keepsakes. The piece features the phrase “Fell Asleep Here,” stamped in gold using Meghan’s own calligraphy, and she describes it as “a keepsake designed for those who linger, pause and return.”
Alongside the bookmark, As Ever also released a “A Moment To Unwind Set,” which bundles the bookmark with peppermint tea and sage honey with honeycomb.
The collaboration has clearly paid off for Meghan as it sold out within minutes. But while she celebrates, her husband Prince Harry is preparing for a court battle on UK soil. The Duke of Sussex is expected to travel to London later this month for the start of his High Court case against Associated Newspapers Limited, publisher of the Daily Mail.
Although Meghan is not expected to join Harry on the legal visit, speculation continues that she could return to the UK later this summer. Reports suggest she may accompany him for a one-year countdown event ahead of the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham given that the right security measures are in place. Also highly speculated in the return of their couple’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
If so, it would mark her first visit to Britain since 2022, when the couple extended their stay following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Full guide by phase is revealed here
Soon after the first official trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, it had sent the Marvel community into a frenzy.
This time, it is portraying big faces and bigger stakes.
With the new Avengers movie set to be released in December 2026, now it feels like there’s no better time for an MCU rewatch.
The fact is the MCU is huge: films, Disney Plus shows, multiverse detours, and different timelines, so you can’t find a single way to stream it. But don’t worry, as we’ve got you covered.
Here’s a clean, easy-to-follow guide to help you catch up without losing the storyline.
Which MCU phase are we in now?
Marvel is currently moving through Phase Six. This phase is building directly towards Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
The multiverse no longer stands as a separate storyline—in fact, it’s the core story.
Projects from Phase Four onwards highlight tremendously broken timelines, substitute realities, and the results of Endgame.
Phase Six featured Fantastic Four: First Steps of Wakanda and Marvel Zombies, all roads lead to the next Avengers event.
What’s the best way to watch the MCU?
To watch the MCU right away, there are two main paths, and neither is wrong.
Release order is the simplest one. You stream it as audiences originally did and see the Marvel story unfold in order.
Chronological order is a bit messy, as it places stories where they fit inside the MCU timeline.
The following guide follows a release-based phase structure, the best way for both new and returning fans to watch.

Matt Damon, Ben Affleck spill beans about their ‘least likeable’ habits
Matt Damon and Ben Affleck candidly mention each other’s least likeable habits.
The duo, who are friends for more than 45-years, reveals what bother them most in the other person. During an appearance on the Today show, Affleck said of Damon that “[he’s] not great at cleaning up around the house.”
To which Damon, without being shy, responded, “Hey! [That was] when I was younger.”
“Well, that’s all I have to go by,” the Accountant director responded before joking, “I mean, we could ask your wife and see if it’s gotten better.”
Damon also didn’t hold back and shared what he does not like about Affleck. He said he isn’t a fan of his tardiness.
“We got here this morning and Ben was three minutes early. He got here before me and that’s the first time in 45 years he has not been late,” he shared.
“Oh my god, that’s a complete myth. I work hard. I’m doing other stuff,” Affleck objected.
The light hearted chit chat came after the Last Duel star unveiled his wife, Luciana Barroso, had a crush on her husband’s best friend before she married the “Bourne Ultimatum” star.
“I met her best friend from high school, and it came out that the two of them went and saw ‘Good Will Hunting’ together,” Damon recalled on the Howard Stern Show on Monday.
“Her best friend thought I was the cute one,” he confirmed. “And [Barroso] thought Ben was the cute one.”
After his partner’s confession, Damon told her, “You got the wrong one.”
Barroso also worked with both Damon and Affleck on their film, The Rip, which had Damon praising his wife as “a great producer and a really good friend.”
