Kim Kardashian is setting the record straight about her longtime friendship with Jonathan Cheban.

While the two don’t spend as much time together as they once did, Kim says there’s no drama between them. The Kardashians star addressed their relationship on Khloé Kardashian’s Khloé in Wonder Land podcast on January 21.

“I love Jonathan,” Kim, 45, said. “I think people think we don’t talk.”

The SKIMS mogul explained that their lives simply changed over time, especially after she became a mom to North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, whom she shares with ex Kanye West.

“Jonathan and I are good,” Kim said. “Here’s the thing. I had kids and it’s really hard to maintain friendships when you have kids and you’re like in it. And Jonathan’s not going to come and sit around Calabasas all day, he’s like always on the move.”

Khloé agreed, adding of Cheban’s lifestyle, “I get that. There’s so much history there.”

Despite their busy schedules, Cheban remains close to the family. He attended Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party in November, and Kim even FaceTimed him during the podcast.

“That was probably one of the best parties in like 15 years,” Cheban, 51, said. “They don’t do parties like that anymore.”

Kim also reflected on the early days of their friendship, recalling how they once staged paparazzi moments in New York.

“We totally scammed the system, and it was on like every cover, and we thought we were killing it,” she said.

Cheban also helped shape Kim’s public image early on.

“‘You have got to stop smiling,’” Kim recalled him saying. “’Like, Victoria Beckham never smiles.’”

Charlie Puth is feeling emotional after Wicked: For Good Oscar cancellation.

The Attention singer, 34, is speaking out in support of Ariana Grande and Cynthia Ervio after both the stars got no Academy nomination announced on January 22.

“Ariana and Cynthia not getting nominated for Wicked is such a disappointment,” Charlie wrote on X. “I don’t watch a lot of movies, but I believe the amazing musicality they both showcased should be acknowledged.”

Beyond the absence of acting nominations for Ariana and Cynthia, Wicked: For Good failed to make an impact in the Oscar race altogether.

 The film was shut out of nominations, missing out on Best Picture and recognition for its two original songs, No Place Like Home and The Girl in the Bubble.

Cynthia and Ariana both received Oscar nominations at last year’s ceremony, with Cynthia earning a Best Actress nod and Ariana landing a Best Supporting Actress nomination. 

The first installment of Wicked scored 10 nominations overall, including Best Picture, and won Oscars for Best Production Design and Best Costume Design.

As they wrapped up the Wicked story, the two stars reflected on the journey with what they described as “overwhelming gratitude.”

“It’s been such an incredible ride and an incredible experience to create with people we love so much and respect so much creatively,” Ariana told E! News in November, “but also who just have such great hearts.”

The 32-year-old added that she was excited for fans to “finally be able to get the full story” of Elphaba and Glinda and see the “full arc of these women that we love so much and have spent these years with.”

“It’s almost five years that we’ve spent with them,” she said. “So, for them to finally be getting the full picture and to know the secrets we’ve known all along is very exciting.”

It has been recently reported that the Sussexes are returning with a romcom after back-to-back setbacks on Netflix.

Meghan is reportedly quite excited to be a part of The Wedding Date, an adaptation of the 2018 romance novel written by Jasmine Guillory.

According to Heat, “There is so much riding on this movie being a success, Meghan is saying this is make or break time, and she wants all hands on deck.”

The former Suits actress seemingly believes that this new film might be a huge hit, which helps them regain the trust of Netflix bosses.

But “Harry’s lack of enthusiasm is driving her crazy,” said the source.

An insider commented, “From Meghan’s point of view, it’s got to be beyond aggravating that he’s pushing back like this. She’s working her butt off trying to create income streams for them, and he’s turning his nose up.”

Speaking of Harry’s perspective, the report revealed that King Charles’ son is focused on philanthropy after being “bored” by Hollywood.

“He wants his life’s work to feel meaningful. He’s fine to take a token role in Meghan’s projects, but he has no desire to live and breathe Hollywood anymore, and that is not going over well with Meghan,” the source added.
