Bella Ramsey opens up about ‘recovery’ from ‘The Last of Us’ season 2 gore
Bella Ramsey is finally moving on from the revenge-filled blood, sweat and tears of The Last of Us season 2.
“I’m back in Vancouver filming a different thing,” Bella said on the latest episode of EW’s The Awardist podcast.
“The last time I was here, I was in the midst of the blood, sweat, and tears filming season 2. I feel like I’ve reached the point of recovery now,” they said.
In the second season of HBO’s show, Bella’s Ellie goes on a revenge spree after Kaitlyn Dever’s Abby kills her father-figure Joel (Pedro Pascal).
In her rage fueled rampage, Ellie kills Abby’s friends Nora, Mel and Owen.
Explaining season 2 and Ellie’s emotions, Bella said, “She was angry a lot in the first season, but season 2, it’s a very vulnerable anger. It comes from a place of deep fear and sadness and loneliness. But that manifests with her as a sort of vengeful, insatiable anger and need for revenge.”
The Game of Thrones star noted that while Bella was fighting with Joel over his killing of hospital staff to save her in the end of season 1, she became him in season 2.
“The end of season 1, it was like, how far do you go for familial love, like what Joel did in the hospital to save Ellie. And then she’s kind of become Joel in season 2 and is doing the same and is prepared to kill absolutely everybody for him, even though he’s not even there anymore — just for the memory of him and that she can’t let go of,” she said.
Bella Ramsey has received an Emmy nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama for her performance in the second season of The Last of Us.

Vanessa Trump supports boyfriend Tiger Woods after DUI arrest
Vanessa Trump is standing by Tiger Woods following his DUI arrest, with reports confirming the couple have no plans to split, though sources suggest her support comes with an unspoken deadline.
Trump, who has been dating Woods for over a year, has spoken with her boyfriend about the car crash and arrest but the two are not arguing about it, according to TMZ.
She is described as “fully supportive” of him as he looks to get back on track, and there have been “absolutely no talks of breaking up.”
However, a separate source from the Daily Mail paints a more complicated picture.
According to an insider, Trump’s initial concern shifted to frustration after Woods allegedly brushed off the seriousness of the situation.
“She was like, ‘let’s solve this together,’ and his response was basically, ‘yeah yeah yeah, I got it. It’s fine. It’s under control,'” the source claimed.
“And she’s like, ‘It is so obviously not under control.'”
The source was direct about where things stand.
“She needs stability and this is not stable. If he can’t fix this, she will 100 percent walk. She’s trying to make that clear without it sounding like an ultimatum, but obviously it kind of is.”
The mother of five has previously been described as deeply committed to the relationship.
A source told PEOPLE that Trump and Woods are “in love,” though the same insider noted that Woods can be “difficult to be around” at times due to the pain he manages following multiple surgeries.
“It’s serious but Tiger has yet to look in the mirror and say, ‘You’re 50 years old and need to act like it,'” the source added.
Woods broke his silence on Tuesday, announcing he was stepping away from golf to seek treatment and focus on his health.
He has pleaded not guilty to the DUI charge, waived his arraignment and demanded a jury trial, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.

What is Kylie Jenner’s favourite Timothée Chalamet movie?
Kylie Jenner has made a rare public comment about boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, opening up about his films and their relationship during a podcast appearance that marks only her second ever.
Jenner joined rapper Kid Cudi on the debut episode of his Big Bro podcast, a natural connection, given that Cudi and Chalamet have been close friends for years, their bond rooted in the actor’s repeated praise of Cudi’s music during the Call Me by Your Name press run in 2017 and 2018.
When Cudi asked Jenner to pick her favourite Chalamet film, she didn’t find it easy.
“That’s hard for me because I feel like I really love them all,” she said, before settling on an answer.
“But Call Me by Your Name is pretty perfect.” She also singled out the Dune films as favourites, and revealed she has watched his 2023 movie Wonka a remarkable number of times.
“I’ve seen it like seven times,” she said. Cudi added that he and Chalamet have their own tradition of watching his films together in cinemas.
Jenner and Chalamet have been together for roughly three years, keeping their relationship largely out of the public eye.
She has been a consistent presence throughout his Marty Supreme awards campaign, attending three Golden Globes ceremonies and two Oscars alongside him.

Artemis II crew member had heartbreaking talk with daughters before launch
As the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is preparing for its first crewed mission in more than half a century, Artemis II crew member Reid Wiseman had one of the most difficult conversations with her daughters.
The 50-year-old discussed his own death plan with his teenage daughters.
He is a single father and raised Ellie and Katherine after the death of his wife, who lost her life to cancer in 2020.
Before heading to NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre, he took his daughters for a walk and mentally prepared them that he might not return from the 10-day lunar flyby mission.
Wiseman said: “Here’s where the will is, here’s where the trust documents are, and if anything happens to me, here’s what’s going to happen to you.”
“I actually wish more people in everyday life talked to their families in that way because you never know what the next day is going to bring,” he added.
The mission is scheduled to launch from Florida on Wednesday, April 1. The crew includes three more members named Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen.
The crew will make the journey around the moon in the Orion spacecraft, the first human mission to the moon since the Apollo 17 mission in 1972.
Wiseman said that while his daughters initially had “zero interest” in his launching again after spending five months on the International Space Station in 2014, they eventually came around after discussing the importance of the mission with him, even baking him moon-themed cupcakes the following morning.
He acknowledged that the toughest part is “the stress” he is putting on his daughters.
