Check Ariel’s star statement about other famous Disney princesses

Ariel is a spirited, bubbly princess living undersea but has dreams to explore the dry lands.
Her character, first introduced in 1989’s The Little Mermaid, added to a growing list of Disney princesses in the studio’s animated library.
Now, Jodi Benson, who voiced the character, reflects on her relationship with fellow voice artists who gave energy to those characters.
Megara (Susan Egan) in Hercules and Belle (Paige O’Hara) in Beauty and the Beast.
Referring to Susan, Jodi says, “She is amazing,” adding, “We’ve been friends for a really long time.”
Her love and warmth were likewise similar to Paige. “I’ve been friends with Paige for 45 years. I’ve been friends with Susan for 35 years.”
She continues, “So it’s a long time, these are long relationships, and we get to work together [at Disney events], and this is a huge gift.”
“I hope my legacy will be that I helped others well,” the star tells People.
Jodi also shares the goal she wanted to seek, which is “how to love and serve others. Think less about myself and more about others, which is challenging for all of us.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Jodi opens up about her views for Ariel, for whom she shares her “deepened appreciation” over the years for the Disney princess.
“Because we kind of are one and the same now,” the actress adds.
“We’re going [almost 40] years of having this character, and I know her — and she is me — and we’re kind of combined.”
She notes, “So it still just kind of amazes me that I have the privilege to be this character.”
Jodi’s comments about Ariel come at the World Princess Week Celebration at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim.

Star describes ‘Euphoria’ season 3

Season three of Euphoria is arguably HBO’s most-awaited series. As it’s in the making, one of its stars, Jacob Elordi, who plays Nate Jacob, weighs in on it.
Appearing on the Academy Museum Gala red carpet, he hypes up the forthcoming season, saying, “It was incredible, man,” adding, “It was incredibly liberating. I got to play something so sort of far out from what I’ve done before.”
He said that series creator Sam Levinson “constructed something that’s incredibly clever and cinematic. I think people are really going to like it.”
Amid teasing, Jacob adds that he has no idea about the overall story of season three.
“Everybody shoots at different storylines,” he reveals. “I don’t know what anyone else is doing. I had a really singular storyline.”
The 28-year-old continues, “You don’t know what the other story lines are. It’s like FBI files. So it’s great because I’ll get to consume the show the same way that everybody else does as a fan, which I haven’t been able to do before. I’m really excited.”
Along with Jacob, Euphoria stars Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Dominic Fike, Colman Domingo and Kika King.
Season three is expected to drop in the spring of 2026.

Fran Drescher claims she admonished TV execs about their ‘Happily Divorced’ decision

Fran Drescher has revealed she once asked TV executives to not pull Happily Divorced.
The 68-year-old actress and writer, who was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame on September 30, conversed with PEOPLE magazine and opened up about her journey in the entertainment world.
Drescher told the outlet that she played different characters in her career and they all catapulted her to fame but the role of Fran Lovett on Happily Divorced was the one she desired to depict for a longer period.
The Saturday Night Fever alum said, “It’s too bad that TV Land took Happily Divorced off after only 36 episodes.”
Putting blame on “the poor business model” for the show’s slow start, she added, “I did point it out to them, but they didn’t want to hear it. But ultimately, I was proved correct.”
Drescher recalled, “Two years later, I ran into one of the executives, and they said, ‘If it’s any consolation, that’s like the big regret at TV Land. That shouldn’t have been canceled. That shouldn’t have gone away. It was so good.’”
The Hotel Transylvania star went on to state that Happily Divorced was “finding its own” and she was aware of the fact that it might take time to attract sponsors.
“If you have limited money, you can’t pay for a series with the hopes that you’ll be able to syndicate it or advance sell it before you start running out of money,” she quipped.
It is pertinent to mention that Happily Divorced, which starred Valente Rodriguez, Rita Moreno, Michael Higgins, and Tichina Arnold, along with Drescher, debuted in 2011 but after two years, it was suddenly ended.
