Complete guide to Michael Jackson biopic 2026: release date, cast, story
The highly anticipated Michael Jackson biopic, aptly titled as Michael, has released its first teaser, introducing the world to a transformative performance by the King of Pop’s own nephew, Jaafar Jackson.
The film is directed by Antonie Fuqua and is scheduled to release on April 24, 2026.
The one-minute trailer, which was released on November 6, provides a highly potent insight into the uncanny way Jaafar portrays his late uncle.
The movie will be an in-depth examination of the complicated life of the world superstar.
It will be an intimate look into the life and longtime legacy of one of the most influential and trailblazers by the world with the official synopsis saying it will explore the journey of the global super-star to have become known to the world as the King of Pop.

The screenplay, written by John Logan, has been reported to be an adaptation of the child sexual abuse charges on Jackson, and producer Graham King is quoted saying that they intend it to be a humanization and not sanitization of the story.
The project has had an intricate journey to the screen, such as industry strikes and the reports of massive re-shoots to polish the film, which now is likely to have a considerable screen time.
The original footage, though, has created a lot of hype and made Michael one of the most anticipated biographical movies of the decade.

Grammy Awards announce 2026 nominations with Kendrick Lamar leading. See the list of the nominees.
The 68th Grammy Awards nominations are out with Kendrick Lamar leading with nine nods.
Following Lamar, Lady Gaga, Jack Antonoff and Canadian record producer and songwriter Cirkut received seven nominations. Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter, Leon Thomas and Serban Ghenea were all nominated in six categories.
Music released between Aug. 31, 2024, and Aug. 30, 2025, is eligible for Grammy nominations — meaning some notable recent winners, including Beyoncé and Taylor Swift, were not eligible for nominations.
This year’s awards include two new categories: best traditional country album and best album cover. The existing best country album category was renamed to best contemporary country album.
The award show will take place on Sunday, Feb. 1, in Los Angeles. It will air on CBS and Paramount+.

Prince Harry makes bold statement about ‘wife’ Meghan as Duchess preparing to sue William
Prince Harry has made a bold statement about beloved ‘wife’ Meghan Markle amid reports the duchess is allegedly preparing to sue brother-in-law Prince William.
According to a report by the Radar Online, Meghan is allegedly “panicked and defiant” over fears Prince William will move to strip her Duchess of Sussex title when he becomes king.
Meghan has been telling friends, “No one’s taking my ‘Duchess’ away.”
The insider further said, “To her, it’s so much more than a title – it’s tied to who she is, what she’s built and how the world sees her. Losing it would feel like being written out of the story entirely.”
Amid these claims, Harry has made a statement about ‘wife’ as the duke gave a speech at the 17th annual True Patriot Love Foundation National Tribute Dinner.
According to the People, Harry reflected on his wife Meghan Markle’s connection to Canada during his speech at the charity event.
He said, “Truthfully and jokes aside, this city will always mean a great deal to me.
“You provided a wife for me and you hosted the Invictus Games in 2017, touchstones in my life both professionally and personally.”
Harry joined over 500 guests at Liberty Grand for True Patriot Love Foundation’s National Tribute Dinner, Canada’s premier event honoring the military community.
