Prince Harry risking his future with Diana documentary: report

Prince Harry has just been warned about the ramifications he could face should he decide to move forward with the Princess Diana documentary, that may or may not include controversial material.

The expert in question is royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, and he spoke to Express UK during his interview on the matter.

“Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s contract with Netflix has been renewed in a downgraded form, which will give Netflix first option on what they produce,” he began by saying.

Plus, “Netflix’s Chief of Content, Bella Bajaria, has recently praised the enormous success of their highly controversial six-part docuseries Harry and Meghan,” so “they want something royal from the couple whose royal links are their only claim to fame,” the expert warned too.

That is why Mr Fitzwilliams feels, “This (a Diana documentary) could be it. We know from his memoir Spare how deep his affection for his mother was and how devastated he was at her passing. This is obviously totally understandable.”

Well known to many “Diana was like a meteor. She was the world’s most glamorous woman, whose charitable activities have rightly become legendary, but who was also manipulative and had a fatefully symbiotic relationship with the media. The War of the Waleses, between her and Prince Charles, which ended in divorce, was ferocious at the time.”

According to the expert, “if the proposed documentary featured anything controversial, it would gravely endanger the reconciliation Harry has said he wants with his family although it would undoubtedly draw the audience Netflix wants.”

“This programme, especially now that Camilla, the woman she (Diana) regarded as her rival, is now Queen Consort, also, potentially, has enormous dangers for Harry’s future relationships with his family.”

Before concluding he also added, “if reconciliation is desirable, but seems unlikely, peace is essential. This (the documentary), if it happens, could restart conflict.”

Duchess of Edinburgh plays the hero amid family ‘soap opera’ involving senior royals, Harry, Meghan

Duchess of Edinburgh performs her royal duties amid Harry, Meghan’s feud with senior royals

Sophie has risen to the occasion amid Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s the ongoing conflict with senior royal members.

Sean Smith, who is an author of Sophie: Saving the Royal Family, which came out in July of this year, opened up about the Duchess of Edinburgh’s professional integrity and work commitment in a talk with GB News.

Mr Smith said that most of the prominent members of the monarchy are embroiled in a feud with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex that has undermined the focus on meaningful work but a strong sense of responsibility in Sophie is not letting her deviate from what truly matters amid serious tensions in the Royal Family.

The author of Meghan Misunderstood said, “The media has been and continues to be obsessed with the family drama involving Harry, Meghan, William, Kate and Charles. It’s a soap opera.”

“(Meanwhile) Sophie (has been) comforting women and children refugees,” he noted.

For those unaware, the Duchess of Edinburgh has been putting in efforts to eradicate se*ual abuse against women in war zones for over ten years.

In 2019, she visited Kosovo and South Sudan to promote justice for victims as the Countess of Wessex before becoming the Duchess of Edinburgh in 2023 to promote justice for victims.

In April 2024, Sophie became the first member of the Royal Family who travelled to Ukraine, where she met President Volodymyr Zelensky and First Lady Olena Zelenska and made efforts to end wartime se*xual violence.

New Meghan Markle show falls flat as expert says royal drama can’t be repeated

Meghan Markle’s new show underperforms as public loses interest in royal drama

A PR expert said that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s hit Netflix documentary was successful because it gave people an inside look at why they left the Royal family.

Speaking with The Express, PR expert Edward Coram-James said he believes the public’s interest was mainly about the drama surrounding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s royal exit.

And that kind of story can only be told once, he noted, hinting at the reason why Meghan’s series With Love, Meghan, failed to grab similar views.

According to Coram-James, once the story about leaving the monarchy has been told, it is hard to keep the same level of public interest.

He said, “The success of the Harry & Meghan doc was built on a finite resource: the public’s insatiable curiosity about their decision to leave the royal family and the drama surrounding it.

“It was a one-time, explosive event,” the expert added.

“They pulled back the curtain on the monarchy, and that is a story you can only tell once.”
