Lorde to headline East London’s All Points East festival

Lorde announced as East London’s All Points East festival headliner

Lorde, the two-time Grammy-winner has been announced as the headliner of East London’s All Points East festival.

Lorde, known for her introspective lyricism and genre-defying sound, recently returned with new music, including the single What Was That and her fourth studio album, Virgin, which debuted at No. 1 in the UK.

Virgin garnered over over 18 billion global streams and now her headline set is highly anticipated.

Joining Lorde is British singer-songwriter and producer PinkPantheress who rose to fame through TikTok and was recently shortlisted for the Mercury Prize.

PinkPantheress is celebrated for her emotional dance-pop, which features on her debut album Heaven Knows.

Additionally, her talent was further recognised last week with her first-ever Grammy nomination for Illegal.

The stellar supporting cast for East London’s All Points East festival also includes Swedish singer-songwriter Zara Larsson, fresh off her Midnight Sun Tour.

Larsson is known for her blend of R&B and club-influenced pop, built on a string of multi-platinum hits like Lush Life.

Further additions include Esha Tewari, ML Buch, and Fabiana Palladino, who notably co-wrote tracks on Lorde’s latest album, Virgin.

The announcement follows the confirmation of Deftones and Tyler, The Creator as other headliners for the 2026 festival.

Major update on man who grabbed Ariana Grande

Man jailed for nine days for rushing Ariana Grande at ‘Wicked: For Good’ premiere

Last week, a man rushed at Ariana Grande at the Wicked: For Good premiere in Singapore. Now, he has been sentenced to nine days in jail.

The local court states that the person, whose name is Johnson Wen, was charged with public nuisance after pleading guilty to the incident.

During the case proceeding, the man in question said he would “not do it again’ after he was found attempting to rush on the carpet twice.

Ariana, meanwhile, did not break the silence on the matter. But it’s worth noting that Johnson has a history of rushing at celebrities at events, which includes Priyanka Chopra, Katy Perry, The Weeknd, and The Chainsmokers, among others.

He later posted those clips on social media. “@arianagrande @wickedmovie Dear Ariana Grande Thank You for letting me Jump on the Yellow Carpet with You,” read the caption Johnson used about his post about the pop icon.

It is pertinent to mention that Cynthia Erivo, co-star of Ariana, pushed back the person who rushed at him, leading a wave of praise for the actress.

Kim Kardashian gets raw about ‘disappointing’ aspect of life

Kim Kardashian reveals the hard work behind her bar exam preparation

Kim Kardashian just revealed the tough reality of preparing for the California bar exam.

In a candid video posted on Instagram, the reality star shared the stressful moments leading up to the test that would determine whether or not she would become a lawyer — although she previously revealed that she did not pass.

“I’ve shared so much of this journey with you, and this summer I documented some of the final two weeks of studying — the ups, the downs, and everything in between,” Kim wrote in the caption.

“On November 7th, I found out I didn’t pass the bar. It was disappointing, but it wasn’t the end. This dream means too much to me to walk away from, so I’m going to keep studying, keep learning, and keep showing up for myself until I get there,” The Kardashians star mentioned.

The video begins with Kardashian sitting on her bed crying before rewinding to two weeks before the test.

Her time was spent reviewing cases, working with her team of professors, and studying the courses at length.

To make the countless hours of studying even more stressful, the SKIMS founder had also thrown her back out, which resulted in a few “disc issues.” Eventually, her emotions got the best of her.

“Every time I feel like I’m a step ahead, something happens to try to stop me from doing this,” Kardashian said while breaking down in tears, adding, “A part of me just wants to stop. I just feel like my brain’s gonna explode and I still have so much more to go.”

However, she stayed committed to her goal. And while her four children were on vacation, she spent as much time as she could making sure she was ready to take the exam.

“I feel really good about everything,” Kim said the day before the test. “My body feels good — it feels way better than it has in previous days. I feel good, like, I feel prepared.”

On November 7, however, Kardashian received the news that she did not pass the bar exam on the same day as the premiere of Hulu’s All’s Fair.
