NFL Week 14 scores: Teams take crucial steps in divisional races
NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!
Week 14 of the 2025 NFL season is nearly in the books and the playoff picture did get a bit clearer.
The Pittsburgh Steelers, Jacksonville Jaguars and Green Bay Packers each took sole possession of first place in their respective divisions – the Steelers in the AFC North, the Jaguars in the AFC South and the Packers in the NFC North. Each team had huge wins against divisional opponents that will definitely pay their dividends in a few weeks.
Elsewhere, the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks stayed at the top of the NFC West division with the San Francisco 49ers just one game behind both teams. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers suffered an upset loss at home to the New Orleans Saints. They have the edge over the Carolina Panthers in the NFC South, but both teams are now 7-6.

Liverpool’s Salah posts Instagram photo alone in gym
Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah was left at home for the team’s UEFA Champions League trip to Inter Milan on Tuesday, having been temporarily removed from selection following an explosive interview in which he took aim at the club and head coach Arne Slot.
Salah, 33, who has just four goals in 13 Premier League appearances this season, trained with the first team at the AXA Training Centre on Monday morning after his comments following Liverpool’s 3-3 draw with Leeds United on Saturday.
But by Tuesday morning he appeared to be all alone in the gym as his teammates were already in Milan.
The Egypt international took to Instagram to show he was working hard, but you have to wonder who acted as a spotter for him with all those weights around.
Still, at least nobody can claim Salah has been left out for his fitness.

Former NFL player condemns Eagles fans for vandalizing coach’s home after loss
NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!
Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kavin Patullo’s New Jersey home was vandalized with eggs after a recent loss, and former NFL defensive tackle Spice Adams wants to remind fans that it is just a game.
Adams, 45, played college football at Penn State and said he understands Pennsylvania fans, but stressed that they have to relax.
“That’s crazy. My reaction to it is that’s that’s just wild, man.I know the fans are, you know, passionate about their team, but golly, man. Come on, man. That’s crazy to do that. Go and egg somebody’s house? Wow, man. That’s this is a game, man,” Adams told Fox News Digital in a recent interview while talking about Red Baron’s fantasy football punishment.

“This is a kid’s game. Y’all gotta relax out there. I’ve played at Penn State, so, I understand Pennsylvania’s fans, but y’all gotta chill. Y’all gotta relax, man.”
Adams said he has never heard of anything like that happening when he was playing. The former defensive tackle played in the NFL for nine seasons, from 2003-2011.
He added that not even Santa Claus is guaranteed a warm reception in Philadelphia, as they infamously booed him.

The Eagles lost to the Los Angeles Chargers 22-19 in overtime on Monday night to drop to 8-5. It was their third straight loss and once again, the offense, with Patullo as the offensive coordinator, struggled.
Jalen Hurts had a career-high five turnovers in the loss, and the angst from the Eagles’ fan base about the offense has grown after winning a Super Bowl last season.
In 2024, with Kellen Moore as the offensive coordinator, the Eagles were fifth in the league in points per game with 29.4. After they won the Super Bowl, Moore departed to take the New Orleans Saints head-coaching job, and the Eagles promoted Patullo to offensive coordinator.

The Eagles have dropped to 19th in the NFL in points per game in Patullo’s first season, averaging 22.2 points per game, a touchdown less than last year.
The Eagles are still in first place in the NFC East with the Dallas Cowboys in second at 6-6-1. They will look to turn things around when they play the lowly Raiders (2-11) on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

Jimmy V Men’s Classic guide: What to watch in UConn-Florida, BYU-Clemson
Four of the nation’s top college basketball teams will take over Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night for the 2025 edition of the Jimmy V Men’s Classic.
No. 10 BYU will open the doubleheader against a 7-2 Clemson team, with No. 5 UConn and No. 18 Florida closing out the night in a battle of recent national champions.
ESPN’s Jeff Borzello breaks down the keys to each game below.

6:30 p.m. ET, ESPN
Can BYU extend its win streak to five games against a Clemson team that nearly knocked off Alabama in Tuscaloosa? The Cougars have turned a corner since narrowly losing to UConn on Nov. 15, blowing out Wisconsin then beating Miami and Dayton despite dealing with a shortened rotation.
Already down Nate Pickens since the start of the season, sixth man Dawson Baker tore an ACL during Feast Week. That means Kevin Young will have to rely even more on his starters; fortunately for Young, his starting five happens to be one of the best in the sport. AJ Dybantsa, Richie Saunders and Robert Wright III form an elite trio, while Keba Keita is an anchor defensively and Kennard Davis Jr. offers 3-and-D ability.
Clemson is off to a 7-2 start, with losses coming at Georgetown (79-74) and Alabama (90-84). The Tigers are further along with their offense, which is unusual for a Brad Brownell-coached team, so we should expect the tide to turn defensively soon. Boomerang transfer RJ Godfrey — he played at Clemson for two seasons and Georgia last season before returning to the Tigers — is the team’s top scorer and rebounder.
9 p.m. ET, ESPN
A matchup of the past three national champions — going in opposite directions so far this season.
We’ve rarely seen UConn at full strength yet, with Braylon Mullins missing the first six games of the season with an ankle injury and Tarris Reed Jr. limited to just four games, also with an ankle injury. A healthy Huskies team is as complete as anyone in college basketball; they have already knocked off BYU, Illinois and Kansas while banged up.
Florida lost four games all of last season. Another loss Tuesday would be its fourth this season. Todd Golden’s new-look backcourt has had some growing pains, to put it mildly. The Gators have struggled to take care of the ball, coughing it up at least 15 times on four occasions while ranking 340th nationally in 3-point percentage. Princeton transfer Xaivian Lee hasn’t adjusted yet to a consistently higher level of basketball.
The key to this game will likely be Reed’s health. Arizona had its way in the paint and on the backboards against UConn when Reed was out, and Florida can do the same on the interior. It’s a different story if Reed plays. And the Huskies have a sizable edge when it comes to shot-makers on the offensive end.
