Prince Andrew could pose problems if ‘pushed too far’

Prince Andrew could go behind the Royal Family’s back and leak secrets, says an expert.
The Duke of York, whose parents has been defamed time and again in Royal circles, could go rogue and air his dirty laundry in the media.
Royal expert Richard Kay notes: “If he is pushed too far, how might Andrew react?” the expert wrote. “Would he follow his nephew’s lead and write a memoir which could, potentially, be even more devastating for the royals than Prince Harry’s book?”
Meanwhile, expert Andrew Lownie says: “He has tried to be a decent ex-brother-in-law and include Sarah in family gatherings, after her years of exile. He has undoubtedly felt a kindred sympathy over her cancer problems and, in Sarah’s own words, he has been kind. And now this. I can just imagine him with his head in his hands saying to himself: ‘I’ve done all I can, but this really is too much.'”

Karachi braces for showers today amid possible cyclone in North Arabian Sea

- Currently no direct threat to Pakistan’s coastal belt: Met Office.
- PMD says cyclone may bring strong winds, heavy rains across Sindh.
- Showers expected in Tharparkar, Umerkot, and Badin, it adds.
KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Tuesday issued its forecast predicting light to moderate rain with thunderstorms and strong winds in the metropolis today.
The Met Office has forecast cloudy weather in the city over the next 24 hours, with chances of light to moderate rain at scattered places.
The maximum temperature is expected to range between 35 to 37 degrees Celsius, while the humidity levels in the city currently stand at 65%, with light winds blowing from the southeast.
The PMD has alsowarned that a well-marked low-pressure system lying over Gujarat, India, may intensify into a tropical cyclone after emerging into the northeast Arabian Sea around October 1, raising concerns of strong winds, heavy rains, and potential damage across parts of Sindh, The News reported.
According to the PMD’s Tropical Cyclone Warning Centre in Karachi, the low-pressure system is expected to move west-northwest and could strengthen into a depression once it enters the Arabian Sea near India’s Saurashtra region.
While officials clarified that there is currently no direct threat to Pakistan’s coastal belt, they cautioned that the system is being closely monitored for possible developments.
The National Weather Forecasting Centre in Islamabad said moist currents from the Arabian Sea are already penetrating southeastern Sindh, bringing widespread rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds to Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Sujawal, Tharparkar, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, Khairpur, Matiari, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, and Jamshoro from September 29 night until October 2.
Isolated moderate to heavy downpours are likely in Tharparkar, Umerkot, and Mirpurkhas during the period.
Earlier this month, Karachi witnessed heavy rains from September 8 to 10 that left large swathes of the city submerged, rivers overflowing, and hundreds of residents stuck.
The metropolis once again received light rain and patches of drizzle on September 16.

Jennifer Lopez ‘hurting behind closed doors’ after Ben Affleck divorce: Source

Jennifer Lopez is reportedly covering the pain of failed marriages by her “best thing that ever happened” comment on Ben Affleck divorce.
Sources close to Lopez revealed to RadarOnline.com that she ” is putting on a brave face, but behind closed doors, she’s hurting.”
Lopez finalized her divorce from Affleck earlier in January after parting ways in April 2024. They couple tied the knot back in 2022 and they rekindled their romance two decades after calling off their engagement in 2003.
For the unversed, Lopez has been married four times in total and shares twins Emme and Max with her third husband Marc Anthony.
The insider continued, “She tells people the divorce was the best thing for her, but it’s also a way to protect herself. Saying she’s thriving makes it easier to deal with the fact that another marriage has ended in disappointment.”
A second source claimed that Lopez is “trying to reframe the story by saying it was the best thing that ever happened to her.
“It’s part truth, part self-preservation. She does believe the experience changed her, but there’s no denying it’s been painful. Her friends see her crying one day and smiling the next – that’s the reality.”
During a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Lopez reflected on working with Affleck while their marriage was ended, as her latest film, Kiss of the Spider Woman, was produced by Affleck and his pal Matt Damon’s company, Artists Equity.
“The movie wouldn’t have been made if it wasn’t for him and Artists Equity. I will always give him that credit. It was hard not to think about stuff, but it was, like, the best and the worst of times. Every moment on set… I was so happy. And then… back home, it was not great,” Lopez recalled at the time.

Jennifer Lopez talks about putting on 50-pound dress in ‘Kiss of the Spider Woman’

Jennifer Lopez is opening up about about her dress choice and fashion challenges from her new project.
The singer, who appeared on CBS Sunday Morning over the weekend, told host Lee Cowan about her 50-pound dress from “Kiss of the Spider Woman.”
Speaking about th contributions of costume designer Colleen Atwood, Lopez noted: “She was very specific about each moment in the movie … when she was so specific about it, it put me right into an idea right away, instead of me trying to craft it, find it.”
“The gold dress was 50 pounds,” Lopez reveals, “It was so heavy. When they would lift me up, and I would try to move my leg around and do the attitude. It was a nightmare.”
At the end of the day, all the pain was worth the result. “It worked. The way the dress moved and the lines of the dress. [Atwood] really is a master at that, and it was perfect. We’d see it on the monitor, and I’d be like, ‘Oh, I didn’t even realize the costume would be that good.’”
