Staff Software Engineer, Tokenization at Visa – United States

Summary

Join Pismo, a technology company providing a comprehensive processing platform for banking and financial markets, and help build the next generation of banking and payment solutions. As a member of our team, you will leverage your expertise in deployment, cryptography, and security to contribute to tokenization, environment configuration, and compliance efforts. This remote position involves development and maintenance of projects in Golang and Java, participation in technical analysis, infrastructure management using Terraform, application monitoring, and code reviews. The role requires experience with Golang, AWS, and infrastructure as code. Visa will accept applications until at least August 18, 2025.

Requirements

• 5 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years of relevant work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or 0 years relevant work experience with a PhD
• +3 years of experience with Golang
• +2 years of experience with AWS
• +2 years of experience with infrastructure as a code, tracing and monitoring tools
• Experience with design systems and architecture
• Be based in The United States

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of projects in Golang and Java languages with deployment on AWS
• Participation in technical analysis with product team requirements
• Execution of Terraform to create/remove new resources on AWS
• Monitoring applications through logs/metrics
• Perform Code Reviews

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java/Groovy
