Justin Baldoni’s former agent breaks silence on Blake Lively’s behavior amid ongoing legal battle

Justin Baldoni’s erstwhile agent recently got candid about Blake Lively’s behavior.
TMZ accessed a deposition transcript in which the 41-year-old American actor and director’s former agent Danny Greenberg reflected on his ongoing conflict with Lively and called the situation an “extortion.”
In a deposition, he stated that what Baldoni and his company, Wayfarer Studios, are dealing with due to Lively’s behavior feels like an ‘extortion” to him.
The 30-year-old actress tried to use influence of her longtime friend Taylor Swift to put pressure on the Everwood actor and receive her desired outcomes from their ongoing legal battle.
For those unversed, Lively, who worked with Baldoni in the 2024 movie It Ends with Us, filed a lawsuit against him, accusing him of se*ual harassment during the production of their film and claiming that he started a smear campaign against her. However, Baldoni, who also served as a director in It Ends with Us, has denied the accusations.
In her case deposition, the Gossip Girl alum’s makeup artist, Vivian Baker, said that all the inappropriate incidents took place during the first phase of filming, which her talent agent, Warren Zavala, also endorsed by clarifying he has no knowledge of any incidents that made Lively ill at ease during the second phase of filming.
Notably, Zavala went on to admit that Lively did file complaints during the “post process” when testing a cut of the film.
It is pertinent to mention that Baldoni also filed a countersuit against Lively but most of his $400 million cross-complaints were dismissed in June this year. The case is still moving forward.

Brittany Cartwright declares she’s ‘single’ again

Brittany Cartwright and her new boyfriend, Brandon Hanson, have parted ways two months after their romance went public.
In a recent chat on her podcast, When Reality Hits with Brittany Cartwright, the 36-year-old star announced she is “single” again.
“We actually did not last,” Cartwright revealed on the October 10 episode of her show. “It was kind of like a whirlwind relationship. It went into the public way sooner than we ever would have wanted it to.”
She went on to explain, “It ended amicably, but I just could not do the long distance and he’s got a lot of obligations with his three kids and jobs, and we lived three hours away, so it was just too tough to keep it going. We really cared about each other. Hopefully, we can remain friends, but it’s just something I didn’t see that was going to be able to continue in the future.”
The Valley star noted, “We still care a lot about each other.”
Cartwright also addressed the speculations that Hanson paid for her recent mommy makeover, revealing the rumor is not true.
“Your girl is single and definitely nobody paid for my surgery but me,” she shared, adding, “I’m a boss baby, boss bitch, I got this. All by myself and I’m happy, actually.”

Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris reveals why sobriety felt like ‘car crash’

Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris Jackson, reflected on her sobriety journey and how it inspires her to help other people dealing with substance addictions.
The 27-year-old singer attended an award ceremony at Friendly House, which is a rehabilitation program for women in Los Angeles, helping them heal and providing a sober space to live and deal with addiction struggles.
“Getting someone to develop conscious contact has easily been the greatest action I’ve ever taken and I pray that I can continue to help others,” Paris said in a speech she gave at the event
“I didn’t just get my life back. I got a better one,” she said, reflecting on her sobriety journey.
Paris continued, “I say it’s funny, I feel like getting sober was kind of like getting into a car accident because everything I shoved in the back seat moved forward on impact and today I’m learning to navigate life on life’s terms.”
Paris further revealed she keeps her charity work private because helping others is part of her spiritual beliefs.
“I’m really grateful to be a part of a movement that aligns so much with my higher purpose and the essence of my daily reprieve,” she noted.
“And along with those things that flew forward, I support any and all programs and foundations and organizations that work towards helping other women do the same,” she vowed.
Paris added, “So thank you guys for having me. Thank you for this moment, and thank you all for what you are doing. Godspeed. We’re coming back.”
This came after Paris marked five years of being “clean and sober” earlier in January.

Julia Roberts and Ayo Edebiri on blurred truths in “After the Hunt”

In the new psychological thriller “After the Hunt,” actors Julia Roberts and Ayo Edebiri face off in a story about power, loyalty, and blurred morality. The film, directed by Luca Guadagnino, follows a college professor and her protégé as an accusation of assault shatters their academic world and forces both women to confront uncomfortable truths.
Roberts plays the professor, whose devoted student, portrayed by Edebiri, accuses her closest confidante of misconduct. The movie, which also stars Andrew Garfield, explores the fallout from the allegation as the characters compete for tenure and navigate shifting alliances.
Roberts told Gayle King on “CBS Mornings” that sparking conversation is the ultimate goal of art.
“You don’t want anybody to walk away from this painting and just be like, ‘Hmm.’ That’s death,” Roberts said.
Edebiri agreed, saying the movie invites discussion and debate.
“I think it’s also a movie you have to talk about it with someone else,” Edebiri said. “It’s like you have to find somebody and make space for nuance, and listening, and discussion, disagreement, even.”
When asked who she believes is telling the truth in the story, Roberts declined to say.
“That is for me to know,” she said, explaining that sharing her opinion would be “a disservice” since her view isn’t “the” truth or “the” correct answer.
Roberts said she and Guadagnino got the script first. Then they both set their sights on Edebiri.
“She was the next person we discussed, and she was the one clear, the one just clear bell that we both heard,” Roberts said. “Luca had said, you know, ‘What do you think about Ayo Edebiri?’ And I was like, ‘What’s not to think?’ And thank goodness, I mean, we sort of would have been set adrift if Ayo hadn’t agreed to do it, because it’s a critical piece.”
The film includes an emotional scene in which Edebiri’s character slaps Roberts’ character, a moment Edebiri admitted she was nervous about.
“Today’s the day that I have to slap, like, God’s gift to planet earth,” she said, citing that Roberts is part of “a trifecta of non-Caribbean women” who she says some Caribbean people consider the “holy trinity” of icons, alongside Princess Diana and Celine Dion.
“You just gotta slap me,” Roberts recalled telling Edebiri. “I didn’t want her to have any Ayo thought in her head in that moment.”
When asked which of her own films Edebiri should remake, Roberts suggested two of her classics.
“‘My Best Friend’s Wedding” because you’re so funny, and physical and great,” she said. And August: Osage County
“After the Hunt” is out in select theaters.
