Justin Bieber gives fans sweet treat with rare glimpses of son Jack

Justin Bieber gave fans a rare look at his son, Jack Blues, in a series of Instagram posts on Monday.
The 31-year-old pop star, who has nearly 300 million followers, uploaded photos of himself kayaking with his one-year-old son, who celebrated his first birthday on August 22.
Bieber sported pieces from his SKYLRK fashion line, including a red sweatshirt and matching beanie, while also sharing close-up selfies highlighting his beard and nose piercing.
Hailey Bieber added to the family updates by posting her own snapshot of Jack on her Instagram Story.
The couple, who will mark their seventh wedding anniversary this week, have remained protective of their child’s privacy, avoiding public photos that reveal his face.
The posts came shortly after Bieber released his latest album, SWAG II, which heavily references his marriage to Hailey.
The project follows July’s surprise drop of SWAG and coincided with Hailey’s billion-dollar Rhode skincare partnership with e.l.f. Beauty.
Jack also made a brief appearance in the visualizer for Bieber’s track Yukon, giving fans their first glimpse of the couple’s son beyond carefully curated family photos.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s daughter Apple steps into modeling spotlight: ‘So excited’

Gwyneth Paltrow and ex Chris Martin’s daughter, Apple is making her way into the world of fashion as she fronts her first-ever campaign.
The 21-year-old, who kicked off her career in 2023 with Chanel’s haute couture show, has become the face of the latest campaign of a fashion house named self-portrait.
The London-based fashion house announced its collaboration with Apple Martin as “new Miss self-portrait” on September 9, on Instagram with a casual video of the budding model.
In the post uploaded to self-portrait’s social media account, Apple shared that she is excited for her gig.
“It is me, miss Apple Blythe Alison Martin, coming to you from the floor in a gorg self-portrait little baby tee and these cute ass earrings,” Apple said in the clip,
Expressing her excitement for the project, she gushed, “And I’m so excited to be the new Miss self-portrait and for the campaign to come out.”
In a separate post the fashion house warmly welcomed Apple for their collaboration. “Welcome to the family @applemartin.”
For the unversed, the fashion house, which was founded in 2013 in the U.K. by Malaysian founder and designer Han Chong, had collaborated with A list celebrities in the past including, Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Naomi Campbell, Irina Shayk, Bella Hadid, Kate Moss, Paris Hilton, Beyoncé, Olivia Rodrigo, Michelle Obama, Cynthia Erivo and many more.
In an interview with Interview Magazine back in April, the young model opened up about the online backlash she faced after her Chanel gig in 2023.
“Then I quickly realized why everybody has always said, ‘Don’t do it,’ because even if you see a million positive things, there can be one thing that absolutely wrecks you,” she told the publisher at the time.
Apple went on to say, “So, I’ve stopped now and I avoid it like the plague, because I know myself and I know that if I see stuff that isn’t true and that’s really upsetting to me, I’m going to be like, ‘Oh my god, I should never go out in public again.'”
“All I can do is just be the best that I can be and be with the people I love and not read random, crazy conspiracies,” she added.

Nate Bargatze talks about his comedy style as he prepares to host Emmys: “Just do you”

Comedian Nate Bargatze sold more than 1.2 million tickets to his “The Be Funny Tour” last year, making him the highest-grossing comedian in the country. Now, he’s taking on a new challenge: Hosting the 77th Emmy Awards on CBS.
“This is the first I’m thinking about it, was this week,” the 46-year-old jokingly said about his preparation for Sunday’s show.
He described his comedy style, saying while there will be jokes about the shows, it will be done “in a way that is not mean.”
“I was like trying to think of like how, which way you want to go and it’s like … even we’ve had stuff written that I think was a little more roast stuff and then it’s like after you think about it a couple of days, I’m like ‘nah let’s go back another way.’ We have some fun stuff though that’s planned,” Bargatze told “CBS Mornings.”
The stand-up comedian has also previously hosted Saturday Night Live.
“I’m used to performing in front of live people, not an audience like this of all the people that you know. So, it will be fun to get in there, get on stage, get that first joke, hear that first laugh and then just get running and just really make your own of it.”
Bargatze said he’s honored and excited to host the awards show, saying, “you kind of dream of like hosting some kind of award show … it’s very flattering to even get asked to do it.”
As for who he’s relied on to help him prepare, Bargatze named several top comedians who gave him some tips.
“I talked to Conan about it. Everybody is just kind of like you just have to do you. It’s hard to take exact advice – but like Colbert, Fallon, I talked to Lorne Michaels a little bit about it. You just kind of take it all in … but it all comes back to like just do you. Do what you know to do,” he said.
The 77th Emmy Awards air Sunday Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.

Prince Harry is on a rare visit back to the U.K., but will he see King Charles III or Prince William?

London — Britain’s Prince Harry landed back in the U.K. on Monday, the third anniversary of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II’s death, for a week of public charity engagements, but it was unclear whether he would meet with his father, King Charles III, or his brother, Prince William, neither of whom he has seen in months.
The Duke of Sussex’s packed itinerary began with an award ceremony on Monday for WellChild, a charity for seriously ill children that he supports. Tuesday saw him pay a visit to the central city of Nottingham, with a focus on young people affected by violence, and on Wednesday and Thursday the prince is expected to hold private meetings with representatives from other charities he supports.
Harry’s trip will reportedly be covered at close hand by certain media organizations seen as friendly to the Sussexes. But the question dominating most coverage in Britain has been whether Harry will meet with his father, the king.

King Charles and Prince Harry last saw each other in February 2024, during a half-hour meeting following the king’s announcement of his cancer diagnosis.
Harry has been largely estranged from his family since he and wife Meghan moved to the U.S. and spoke out against what they said was racist treatment, including in the prince’s book “Spare.”
“I think if there is any chance of any sort of rapprochement between Charles and Harry, they would need to meet this week,” Roya Nikkhah, the royal editor for the Sunday Times newspaper, told CBS News on Tuesday. “I mean, they’ve not seen each other for 19 months. It’s a very long time.”
“We don’t know when Harry will next be back here. So I think if there isn’t a meeting this week, that gives you an indication that things are really a lot worse on the king’s side than we would hope,” said Nikkhah.
She said a meeting during the prince’s current visit with his brother, future king Prince William, seem much less likely.

“William and Harry haven’t seen each other in person since 2022, since the late queen’s funeral. And I believe they haven’t spoken personally for the same period. So there’s been no contact,” Nikkhah said. “There’s no chance that William and Harry are going to meet up anytime soon… There is no desire on either side to do that. You know, the brothers haven’t seen each other for such a long time and relations are as bad as they’ve ever been — non-existent.”
Harry’s wife Meghan last visited the U.K. in September 2022, and the couple’s children, Archie and Lilibet, have not been in Britain since June that year, for the queen’s platinum jubilee celebrations.
“I can’t see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the U.K. at this point. And the things they’re going to miss, well, everything… I miss the U.K.,” Harry told CBS News’ news partner network BBC News in May, after losing a legal challenge to have state-provided security increased during visits to his home country.
“I don’t know how much longer my father has. He won’t speak to me because of this security stuff… Of course, some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book. Of course, they will never forgive lots of things. But I would love a reconciliation with my family.”
