Megan Fox talks about her ‘rage’ during early years of her career
Megan Fox is touching upon her state of mind during the early years of her career.
The 39-year-old actress, who famously played the lead in Jennifer’s Body in 2009, says she was full of rage and hurtful back in the days.
Speaking at a Los Angeles special screening of the movie, Fox opened up about the advice she would give to her younger self.
“Oh, I don’t know that I would give myself advice. I think where I was at that point in my life, so lost, so full of that rage that I had towards how I had been treated in the industry,” Fox said, “and how I was dealing with fame and the constant … at that time, before we started filming.”
“I just left a premiere for something where I had to go — I’m obligated to go — and I remember the paparazzi were so ruthless back then — the way they would talk to women,” she recalled. “And I walked out just to try to get to my car, and they’re all shooting. And one guy’s like, ‘Megan, why are you such a bitch?’ And another guy is like, ‘Megan, do you think you’re overrated? The internet says so,’ and I’m just trying to do my job.”
“I was asked to be at this premiere. I’m trying to get to my car. And so I had all of this grief and sorrow and also anger and rage that needed a place to go,” Fox continued. “And like I said, being able to just have the permission to be unhinged even in between takes or maybe the entire time we were there, that was very cathartic for me.”
“I read the script and I think it just resonated with me because there’s something about that, whether it’s just perceived or not, I felt like I was being persecuted at that time in my career, and I was struggling a lot with fame and kind of traumatized by fame,” Fox said.
“And so I resonated with those deeper layers of… you know, before she becomes a monster, she’s just a teenage girl who gets sacrificed for somebody else’s gain,” the star continued. “And that very much resonated because that’s kind of how I got… I came into this industry, I think I was 19 when I made my first big movie, and that, I felt like, was reflecting back these energies that existed inside of myself.”

‘Succession’ star Fisher Stevens leaves US citing political reasons
Succession actor Fisher Stevens has revealed he has moved his family from the United States to London.
“I moved my family to London about eight weeks ago,” People quoted Stevens. “We have a 12 and a nine-year-old, and my wife and I decided it was time to get out of the US for a minute, see what it’s like in Europe and the UK.”
The Emmy-winning actor and filmmaker, best known for playing Waystar Royco’s communications chief Hugo Baker on Succession, said the transition has been positive.
“It’s pretty nice! My wife and I make documentaries, so there are a couple of things we’re working on here. And my wife’s parents live in London too, so that’s been good.”
Stevens also admitted he was frustrated with the political situation in the US. “Knowing that the Trump administration is heavily funded by fossil fuels… this administration is doing everything it can to not be responsible citizens for the world,” he said.
Celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres, Rosie O’Donnell, Eva Longoria, and Courtney Love have all left the US in recent years, citing frustration with the country’s political scenario.

Sydney Sweeney gets emotional as ‘Euphoria’ filming nears end
Sydney Sweeney opened up about returning to Euphoria set for season 3.
During her recent appearance at the AFI Fest 2025 for the premiere of her new film Christy, the 28-year-old star shared that she will soon finish filming the HBO series.
“I wrap ‘Euphoria’ in two days,” she told Variety on Saturday night in Los Angeles.
Gushing over her return to the set after three years, she said, “It’s mostly the same crew, so it feels like I’m going home to family.”
“I’ve grown up with them. I was 20 when I did the pilot, so being able to see a lot of the same people, it feels very comforting,” she added.
Moreover, during the night Sweeney revealed to People that she is excited for her upcoming biopic project Scandalous!, which chronicles the real-life love story of Hollywood legend Kim Novak to the late musician Sammy Davis Jr.
“Once I finish Euphoria, I switch into Scandalous! gear and I’m going to turn my brain into Kim,” Sweeney told the publisher. “I’m so excited. I’m like, ‘Oh my God. I’m going to meet Kim Novak.’”
“I’m incredibly honored to be bringing Kim to life. I mean, she is such an amazing actress,” she continued.
She further gushed over the story of the biopic noting, “I think her story is still very relevant today in that she dealt with Hollywood and scrutiny with her relationships and her own private life and the control of her image. And I think that for me, I relate to it in a lot of different ways.”

Grimes backs Selena Gomez after ‘In The Dark’ video
In The Dark marked as the first solo single of Selena Gomez in nearly two years. But some fans, however, focused on the alleged cosmetic surgery of the pop icon.
Amid intense scrutiny, Grims throws her weight behind the musician. In a post on X, she writes, “I’ve been on the internet for, like, 48 hours, and despite minor benefits, I might have to leave.”
She continues, “Watched this Selena Gomez video; besides a few weird derp shots that people were able to clip and super misrepresent how she looks, she looks extremely beautiful and is probably one of the most beautiful girls.”
“Imagine what it would feel like if people talked about you this way. Try to imagine the mental fortitude she presumably has,” the 37-year-old writes.
“How do we not utterly morally castigate someone who has a post like this blow up and chooses to keep the clout at the expense of everybody’s mental health? How do you think little girls feel reading stuff like this about another woman?” she adds.
The discourse, Grimes concludes, is “unhealthy as **c**—not just for Selena or the writer but everyone who sees this and engages with this level of dehumanisation.”
