Prince Harry, Meghan Markle tear apart newly published royal book
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have hit back at claims in the new royal book Betrayal: Power, Deceit And The Fight For The Future Of The Royal Family, which suggests the late Queen Elizabeth II once told a friend that the Duchess of Sussex had “brainwashed” her husband.
The couple described author Tom Bower as having a “fixation” on them and dismissed his theories as far-fetched.
A spokesperson for the Sussexes said on Saturday, 14 March, that Bower “crossed the line from criticism into fixation,” saying he publicly stated the monarchy “depends on actually obliterating the couple from our state of life.”
The statement continued, “He has made a career out of constructing ever more elaborate theories about people he does not know and has never met.
Those interested in facts will look elsewhere; those seeking deranged conspiracy and melodrama know exactly where to find him.”
The book also claimed that Prince William and Princess of Wales considered Meghan “a threat” as tensions escalated before the couple left Britain for a new life in Montecito, California.
According to Bower, Harry was “shocked” by the downfall of Prince Andrew and feared that the future King could strip the Sussexes of all titles.
They are scheduled to return to Australia in mid-April as private citizens, marking their first visit since their 2018 royal tour.
During their time Down Under, they will visit Sydney and Melbourne, reconnect with old acquaintances, and revisit some of their previous ventures, including charity work and speaking engagements.

Tennessee minors sue Musk’s xAI, alleging Grok generated explicit images of them
Three Tennessee plaintiffs, including two minors, sued Elon Musk’s xAI on Monday, alleging that it knowingly designed its Grok image generator to let people create sexually explicit content by using real photos of others.
The lawsuit, filed in the San Jose, California federal court, is seeking class-action status for people in the United States who were “reasonably identifiable” in sexualised images or videos generated by Grok based on real images of themselves.
The artificial intelligence company did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
After an outcry over sexually explicit content generated by the chatbot, xAI said in January that it had blocked all users from editing images of “real people in revealing clothing” and from generating images of people in revealing clothing in “jurisdictions where it’s illegal.”
Governments and regulators around the world have also since launched probes, imposed bans and demanded safeguards in a growing push to curb illegal and offensive material.
The lawsuit claims xAI failed to install safeguards to prevent its systems from generating sexual content involving minors. All three plaintiffs were minors at the time the images were generated.
Plaintiffs allege their real images were digitally altered into explicit content and then shared online through platforms, causing emotional distress and creating a public nuisance.
They are seeking unspecified damages, legal fees, and an injunction requiring xAI to halt the alleged practices.
“These are children whose school photographs and family pictures were turned into child sexual abuse material,” plaintiffs’ counsel Annika Martin of Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein said in a statement.
“Elon Musk and xAI deliberately designed Grok to produce sexually explicit content for financial gain, with no regard for the children and adults who would be harmed.”

Prince Harry returns to UK life as Meghan Markle gives him freedom
Meghan Markle fulfilled Prince Harry’s wish, as the Sussexes’ new agreement gives them each the freedom they desire.
A few days ago, the Duchess of Sussex and Netflix announced that they are ending their partnership for As Ever.
Now, the situation inside Montecito took a surprising turn. Instead of “dragging” Harry into her “save and flourish” As Ever plan, Meghan reportedly gave her husband “freedom.”
As per Closer, an insider claimed that the Duke of Sussex, who has often felt out of place in his wife’s Hollywood lifestyle projects, is gearing up to return to his UK life, which means a sole focus on charitable work.
Despite facing a major setback with Netflix parting ways, Meghan is not in the mood to give up, even if she has to go solo.
“If Harry doesn’t want to push through, she won’t force him. If anything, she seems relieved to be doing this solo. He can focus on the Invictus Games and building that up, and she can focus on Hollywood,” the source shared.
The former Suits actress realised it is of no good use to “drag and force” Harry for things that do not appeal to him and go against his will.
An insider shared, “Harry feels much more comfortable focusing on Invictus and his charitable work, which is where he believes he can actually make a difference…”
Whereas, Meghan refused to give up on As Ever, as she is planning a strong comeback and working hard behind the scenes.

Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce’s discreet Oscars celebrations lasted whole night
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were in Los Angeles for Oscars night, but true to form, they made sure almost nobody knew about it.
The famously private couple spent most of their evening at Guy Oseary’s exclusive gathering in the Hollywood Hills, a party long regarded as the most discreet and off-duty destination for A-listers on awards night, according to Page Six.
It wasn’t their first time there, the pair attended the same party back in 2024.
The night had already sparked speculation before it even began.
Celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi had clocked what appeared to be Swift’s leg at Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s bash at the Chateau Marmont, sending fans into a tailspin.
But according to sources, the couple largely kept to the hills, well away from the flashbulbs and the frenzy that tends to follow wherever they go.
It’s a fitting approach for two people who have spent the better part of two years at the very centre of the cultural conversation.
Swift and Kelce began dating in 2023, a pairing that became one of the most-watched celebrity stories in recent memory and helped drive record NFL viewership whenever Swift appeared at Kansas City Chiefs games.
They got engaged in August 2025, and the question of when and where they might actually get married has been a subject of constant speculation since.
That timeline has been given added context by Kelce’s recent confirmation that he will return to the Chiefs for another season, ending months of retirement rumour.
ESPN‘s Chiefs insider Nate Taylor noted that with training camp typically starting in late July, any wedding would likely need to happen well before that to avoid clashing with mandatory team commitments.
A private date, however, has not been announced.
Kelce, for his part, has spoken warmly about how the couple navigate their parallel careers.
“We share the same love for what we do, and fortunately, we’ve had this desire since we were kids in our selective professions,” he said on a recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show.
For one night at least, the world’s most scrutinised couple managed to celebrate in peace.
