Princess Kate makes sweet gesture for fans waiting outside Westminster Abbey
Kate Middleton beamed as she met with all the guests who arrived at Westminster Abbey for her fifth Christmas carol service on Friday.
The Princess of Wales was seen delightfully chatting and laughing individually with the attendees of the event, but she didn’t forget about the waiting crowd outside the venue.
There were 1600 people in attendance along with members of the royal family, hence it wasn’t humanely possible for Kate to address every single person.
Hence, Kensington Palace shared an update after the festive event to acknowledge the fans who were anticipating a glimpse..
“Thank you to everyone who joined us at Westminster Abbey this evening, who do so much to foster love and connection in their communities and beyond,” a message was shared on the social media along with the photos highlighting the scenes outside.
The Princess of Wales was joined by husband Prince William and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. The family had a matching theme of dark blue and forest green.
Duchess Sophie, Zara and husband Mike Tindall were present to support Kate. Duke and Duchess of Gloucester arrived with their grandchildren and Queen Elizabeth’s first cousin, Prince Michael of Kent was also in attendance.
Apart from the royal, Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, arrived together followed by James Middleton, and his wife, Alizée Thevenet. Meanwhile, Pippa was missing. It is unclear why Kate’s sister had skipped the event.

Journey of man who walked 27 years to reach home
British adventurer Karl Bushby is set to complete his 27-year walk around the world in September 2026. He has travelled across 25 countries, walking through harshest conditions, warm deserts, jungles, frozen seas, war zones and several political hurdles.
Starting in November 1998 at the age of 29, the British ex-paratrooper left the tip of South America to travel the world on foot without using any motorised assistance, a journey now known as the “Goliath Expedition.”
Now, the 56-year-old is set to return to his home after spending nearly three decades on the road. With nearly minimal presence on social media and no official website, Bushby has become extremely difficult to track.
Starting from the tip of South America, he has walked through the United States, Canada, Russia, China, and Europe, and is now finally set to return home to Britain. He is only a 1,000 miles away from the final stretch of completing his 58,000km journey.
He spent 57 days in detention in Russia for entering from an unofficial border.
Some of the interesting features of his journey are:
- When he started there were no smartphones and social media
- Google maps weren’t invented at that time
- Bill Clinton was U.S. President and Tony Blair was U.K.’s PM
The adventure was meant to last only 12 years, but it took him nearly 28 years to complete his expedition.
The delay was due to several political hurdles, including a 2013 five-year Russian visa ban (later overturned) and financial constraints.
The COVID-19 pandemic also played a significant part in prolonging the expedition.

Joe Jonas slams fan’s ‘debt’ question
Joe Jonas is setting the record straight after a fan suggested that the Jonas Brothers might be taking on new projects because of financial troubles.
The comment came after the trailer for Camp Rock 3 dropped, sparking buzz, and some wild assumptions online.
One social media user reshared the trailer on X and asked, “Genuine question, are the Jonas Brothers in serious debt or something?”
Joe quickly responded and shut down the speculation with a nostalgic reference.
“God forbid connect 3 go back to where connect 3 connected,” he tweeted, pointing to the famous line Kevin delivered in the first movie.
Joe, Kevin and Nick have been in the spotlight together since 2005, and now they’re returning as Connect 3 once again for the new Disney sequel.
They’ll reprise their roles as Shane, Jason and Nate Gray, while also serving as executive producers.
Demi Lovato, who starred in the original films as Mitchie Torres, is producing too, though her involvement onscreen hasn’t been confirmed.
The official teaser shows the trio returning to the musical summer camp where it all began.
“Music, friendship, memories,” Nick says in the preview — followed by Joe’s line, “We’re back. Exactly where we’re supposed to be.”
Fans can expect Camp Rock 3 to hit screens in summer 2026.
The synopsis promises a familiar but fresh storyline, Connect 3 heads back to Camp Rock after losing out on a major reunion tour opening slot, determined to discover “the next big thing.”
With the brothers clearly excited to revisit the franchise, Joe’s message was simple, they’re doing it for the love of where their story started, not for the money.

‘Percy Jackson’ creators want Zendaya to join series
Leah Sava Jeffries already has a big wish for the future of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and it involves Zendaya joining the world of demigods.
After battling monsters as Annabeth in Season 1, Jeffries shared her dream casting while attending the Season 2 world premiere in Los Angeles.
“I don’t know who I would cast her as, but I would love for Zendaya to join a future season,” she told Variety, adding that she’s been a fan of all of Zendaya’s projects.
She said Zendaya could take on the role of a demigod or “anyone else who hasn’t been cast in the show.”
Season 2 adapts The Sea of Monsters, the second book in Rick Riordan’s hit series.
This time, Percy, Annabeth and their friends set out on a mission to rescue Grover after he’s captured by the Cyclops Polyphemus, all while trying to save Camp Half-Blood from danger.
With the core trio back in action, the new season also brings in fresh faces. Kate McKinnon, Dafne Keen and Saara Chaudry are confirmed guest stars as the story expands into new mythological territory.
Jeffries isn’t the only cast member with big ideas about future dream co-stars.
Charlie Bushnell, who plays Luke, said he would love to see Cillian Murphy join the series, calling him his favourite actor.
Aryan Simhadri, who stars as Grover, mentioned that he’d love the chance to work with Willem Dafoe someday, and even Timothée Chalamet.
While there’s no confirmation of any of these A-listers entering the demigod universe just yet, the young cast’s excitement reflects how bold and wide-ranging the show’s future could be.
For now, fans can look forward to seeing how season 2 unfolds, and maybe dream along with them about Zendaya stepping into Camp Half-Blood one day.
