Radiohead breaks seven-year hiatus with UK, Europe tour

Radiohead announces UK, Europe tour

Radiohead are headed to the UK and Europe!

The iconic band will be starting off their 20-date tour on November 4, playing a series of shows in Madrid, Bologna, London, Copenhagen, and Berlin, their first since 2018.

Radiohead will kick off their first tour concert at the Movistar Arena in Madrid, on November 4, where they will also play on the 5th, 7th, and 8th.

The Creep hitmakers will then land in Italy to play four nights at the Unipol Arena in Bologna on November 14th, 15th, 17th, and 18th.

As they return to their homeland, UK, they’ve scheduled four shows at London’s O2 Arena on November 21st, 22nd, 24th, and 25th. Then, they head to Copenhagen, Denmark, for four shows at the Royal Arena on December 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th.

In a message to fans, the band’s Philip Selway said: “Last year, we got together to rehearse, just for the hell of it. After a seven year pause, it felt really good to play the songs again and reconnect with a musical identity that has become lodged deep inside all five of us.”

“It also made us want to play some shows together, so we hope you can make it to one of the upcoming dates. For now, it will just be these ones but who knows where this will all lead,” he further added.

News of the tour broke on September 2nd, when fans flocked to Reddit to share flyers that appeared in each of the five European cities that Radiohead are visiting on tour.

Furthermore, earlier this year, Radiohead’s management also hinted that the band would make their comeback to the stage some time soon.

Chris Pratt steps in after Oprah Winfrey stirs global controversy

Chris Pratt steps in after Oprah Winfrey stirs global controversy

Chris Pratt spoke out in support of the new social media rules for children under sixteen, becoming the latest celebrity to weigh in after Oprah Winfrey praised the approach.

The actor called the move “smart” and said he hoped other countries would follow the example.

Pratt, known for Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World, admitted that he usually did not like telling people what to do.

But the 46-year-old star believed protecting children online was very important, “But when it comes to kids, I think it’s important to protect them.

As much as I believe in liberty, I also believe that protecting kids from social media is really, really important,” he said.

The Electric State star also talked about how he runs his own household, as his four children, including a thirteen-year-old, do not have phones or use screens.

He said he wanted to keep them away from “passive algorithm-driven entertainment” and give them a better start in life.

“Data’s become the most valuable commodity in the world. Our attention is the new veins of gold and oil for the world,” the Moneyball star added.

Oprah Winfrey also praised the decision during her Sydney speaking tour, telling audiences the rules could “change the lives of an entire generation of kids” and highlighted research showing young children were using devices at alarming ages.

She quoted author Jonathan Haidt, saying 40% of American two-year-olds got iPads.

Winfrey called the move a way to protect children’s brains and mental health.

However, Chris’ comments, along with Oprah’s support, brought more attention to the debate about children and social media.

Taylor Swift slammed for copying Kim Kardashian in wedding preparations

Taylor Swift faced backlash from fans over reports about her upcoming wedding to Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.

The pop superstar is set to marry on June 13, 2026, at Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, a cliffside resort known for high-profile events.

Reports circulated that Swift paid huge amount to move another couple’s same wedding date to arrange her celebration.

Social media users reacted strongly, as one wrote, “she’s becoming Kim Kardashian entitled right before our eyes…”

Another commented, “That’s really gross behavior on Taylor’s part,” while others added, “Zero class,” and, “I think it’s fucking sickening for any celebrity to do this.”

One fan said, “Idk, I’d be kinda annoyed if someone else was paying me to move my wedding just so someone else can have it…

Especially if I’ve already sent out invitations and everything.”

Representatives for Swift and Kelce did not comment. However, Ocean House later denied the claims, saying they would never allow one wedding to buy out another.

They also confirmed that each client confirms their date directly.

The wedding carries personal meaning for the Ophelia hitmaker, with June 13 known as her lucky number.

The couple, who got engaged on August 26, 2025, reportedly planned a lavish celebration with flowers everywhere, red eternity roses for Swift’s closest friends.

Despite the controversy, the focus is still on making the wedding personal and special.

Fans continue to watch closely, debating the story, but Taylor’s plans reflect her attention to the details.
