Radiohead breaks seven-year hiatus with UK, Europe tour

Radiohead announces UK, Europe tour

Radiohead are headed to the UK and Europe!

The iconic band will be starting off their 20-date tour on November 4, playing a series of shows in Madrid, Bologna, London, Copenhagen, and Berlin, their first since 2018.

Radiohead will kick off their first tour concert at the Movistar Arena in Madrid, on November 4, where they will also play on the 5th, 7th, and 8th.

The Creep hitmakers will then land in Italy to play four nights at the Unipol Arena in Bologna on November 14th, 15th, 17th, and 18th.

As they return to their homeland, UK, they’ve scheduled four shows at London’s O2 Arena on November 21st, 22nd, 24th, and 25th. Then, they head to Copenhagen, Denmark, for four shows at the Royal Arena on December 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th.

In a message to fans, the band’s Philip Selway said: “Last year, we got together to rehearse, just for the hell of it. After a seven year pause, it felt really good to play the songs again and reconnect with a musical identity that has become lodged deep inside all five of us.”

“It also made us want to play some shows together, so we hope you can make it to one of the upcoming dates. For now, it will just be these ones but who knows where this will all lead,” he further added.

News of the tour broke on September 2nd, when fans flocked to Reddit to share flyers that appeared in each of the five European cities that Radiohead are visiting on tour.

Furthermore, earlier this year, Radiohead’s management also hinted that the band would make their comeback to the stage some time soon.

Kelly Clarkson posts emotional message after Brandon Blackstock’s passing

Kelly Clarkson is back on social media nearly one month after the tragic death of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock.

The 43-year-old singer took to her Instagram handle on Thursday and reflected on her American Idol win in 2002.

“To everyone that took time 23 years ago to call in and vote for me, thank you. Winning ‘American Idol’ changed my life and I will be forever grateful for all of you that have supported me for so many years,” Kelly captioned the post, sharing a throwback picture from the season 1 finale episode.

“It is a gift to find your purpose and passion, and to be able to make a living doing it is the cherry on top. Thank you, always,” the Because of You added.

The Instagram post comes nearly one month after the death of ex-husband, Brandon.

The music manager breathed his last on August 7, at the age of 48, after a year-long battle with cancer.

A day earlier, the TV host had canceled her August Las Vegas shows amid Brandon’s illness.

“I am sincerely sorry to everyone who bought tickets to the shows and I so appreciate your grace, kindness and understanding,” she penned on her Instagram at that time.

Cardi B denied Super Bowl performance for key reason

Cardi B is candidly opening up about the time she refused to perform at the Super Bowl.

Speaking for Billboard ahead of their new cover story, the 32-year-old rapper touches upon the moment she made the decision.

“I got asked to do the Super Bowl and I denied it. I feel like soon, if I get to do it, I’m going to have more hits. I’m going to be more experienced and I’m going to eat that up,” she said.

This comes as Cardi B awaits her new album Am I the Drama? set to drop this month.

Speaking further of her during a live X Spaces conversation earlier this year, the mother-of-two noted that her album won’t have “a lot of features,”

“I’m working with artists, some that I have worked [with] before and some that I haven’t worked [with] before,” she said.

Lily Collins hails husband’s ‘incredible’ support amid motherhood challenges

Lily Collins calls husband her anchor during motherhood struggles

Lily Collins and husband Charlie McDowell are still going strong after four years of marriage and after the actress’s struggles of being a mom.

The Emily In Paris star took to her Instagram account on Thursday, September 4 to mark her 4th wedding anniversary with McDowell, along with their wedding snap and a photo with their daughter on a beach side.

In the celebratory post, Collins posted a heartfelt note for her husband for his support during her journey as a mother, the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Tove Jane McDowell, back in January via surrogacy.

“Four years ago I married my best friend, and today, we not only have our steadfast buddy @redforddog but our newest and most magical bestie T,” Collins wrote, referring to their daughter. “I cannot express how lucky I feel to be yours every single day.”

“Thank you for being the most incredible dad, wonderful husband, supportive partner, and inspiring other half. You go above and beyond in our family — it’s the big picture things but it’s really, most importantly, the daily little things you do that blow my mind,” she gushed over McDowell.

“I couldn’t have worked, let alone functioned, these past few months without you stepping in and up as you have. With the highs and lows, your steadfast love gets me through and I never could have imagined a life or partnership like ours. To think it’s just the beginning, grateful doesn’t even begin to describe it. I love you beyond,” she added.
