Sebastian Stan expecting 1st child with girlfriend Annabelle Wallis: Report

The famously private couple have yet to confirm the news themselves

Sebastian Stan is preparing to step into the biggest role of his life: fatherhood.

TMZ reported on Monday, March 16, that the Marvel star, 43, and his girlfriend-of-four-years Annabelle Wallis, 41, are expecting their first child together. The famously private couple have not announced the news themselves, and details like the due date and gender are being kept under wraps.

The news arrives at a busy moment for both actors.

Stan, widely known for playing Bucky Barnes, aka the Winter Soldier, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has a packed slate ahead. He is set to appear in the upcoming film Fjord and will reprise his fan-favourite role in Avengers: Doomsday.

Wallis is also juggling major projects. She stars alongside Jason Statham in Mutiny, slated for an August release, and is set to appear in the Netflix series Unabomb, centered on Ted Kaczynski. The actress is best known for roles in Peaky Blinders, The Mummy (2017), and Annabelle.

Despite their high-profile careers, the couple has kept their relationship largely out of the spotlight since they began dating in 2022. Their most recent public appearance together was at the 2025 British Academy Film Awards, where Stan was nominated for best leading actor for his portrayal of a young Donald Trump in The Apprentice

Security forces have neutralised seven India-sponsored militants while five security personnel, including an army major, were martyred during a sanitisation operation in Balochistan’s Barkhan district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Wednesday.

The military’s media wing said Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps Balochistan personnel commenced a sanitisation operation in Barkhan’s Nosham area on the morning of May 13 to eliminate terrorists of India-backed Fitna al-Hindustan.

During the operation, a group of terrorists was located and engaged by troops, it said, adding that seven terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire.

“Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorists.”

However, during intense fire exchange, five brave sons of soil, including a field officer, met the ultimate sacrifice and embraced martyrdom, the military’s media wing said.

The martyred personnel were identified as Major Tauseef Ahmed Bhatti, 31, a resident of Pakpattan district, Naik Fida Hussain, 36, from Sukkur district, Sepoy Zakir Hussain, 32, from Skardu district, Sepoy Suhail Ahmed, 21, from Khanewal district, and Sepoy Muhammad Ayaz, 24, from Rahim Yar Khan district.

Security forces continue a sanitisation operation to eliminate any other India-sponsored terrorist in the area, the statement read.

The military vowed that the relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision “Azm e Istehkam” — as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan — by security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.

Pakistan has seen a sharp increase in cross-border terrorist incidents, particularly in the bordering provinces of KP and Balochistan, since the Afghan Taliban grabbed power in Afghanistan in 2021.

Islamabad has repeatedly urged Kabul to prevent its soil from being used by terrorist organisations to carry out attacks inside its territory.

However, the Afghan Taliban regime refused to act against terror groups involved in countless attacks on Pakistani security forces and civilians.

Pakistan launched Operation Ghazab lil-Haq in February this year, months after the two countries agreed to a ceasefire in October 2025, following clashes triggered by unprovoked gunfire by the Afghan Taliban regime at multiple border points.

Despite many rounds of talks, both countries have so far failed to reach an agreement due to the Afghan Taliban regime’s reluctance to take action against terrorist outfits operating from its soil.

Christopher Nolan explained Travis Scott casting in ‘The Odyssey’

Christopher Nolan explained Travis Scott casting in ‘The Odyssey’

Christopher Nolan defended one of the boldest creative choices in his upcoming epic The Odyssey: casting rapper Travis Scott in a supporting role.

Speaking to Time, the Oppenheimer director explained that Scott’s presence is meant to echo the oral tradition of Homer’s poem.

“I cast him because I wanted to nod towards the idea that this story has been handed down as oral poetry, which is analogous to rap,” Nolan said.

Scott appears briefly in promotional footage, sharing a banquet scene with Tom Holland’s Telemachus, Robert Pattinson’s Antinous, and Jon Bernthal’s Menelaus.

Though his exact role remains under wraps, fans speculate he may be portraying Demodocus, the blind bard who sings tales of Odysseus.

The collaboration marks a reunion.

Scott previously contributed the track The Plan to Nolan’s 2020 thriller Tenet, co-written with composer Ludwig Göransson.

Nolan also addressed online chatter about the film’s costumes, which some critics claim stray from historical accuracy.

He countered that Homer’s myth was always interpreted through the lens of later eras.

“The oldest depictions of Homeric characters tend to be depicted in the manner of people living in Homer’s time,” he explained.

Costume designer Ellen Mirojnick, he added, used materials like blackened bronze and gilded accents to signal Agamemnon’s elevated status.

Ultimately, Nolan urged audiences to embrace his vision even if they disagree with the details.

“Hopefully they’ll enjoy the film, even if they don’t agree with everything,” he said. “We had a lot of scientists complain about Interstellar. But you just don’t want people to think that you took it on frivolously.”

With Matt Damon as Odysseus, Anne Hathaway as Penelope, and Charlize Theron as Calypso, The Odyssey is shaping up to be one of the summer’s most ambitious releases.

Nolan is clearly prepared to defend every decision behind it.
