Dhaka seeks temporary US waiver to import Russian oil

Bangladesh has urged the US to grant a temporary waiver allowing the former to buy Russian oil, saying the measure is needed to safeguard its energy supplies and support the economy, the former’s Finance and Planning Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury said.

Switzerland, Vietnam push to conclude EFTA FTA talks by June 2026
