Sabrina Carpenter dominates VMAs 2025 with Best Album win

Sabrina Carpenter dominated this year’s MTV VMAs as she won the Best Album award on Sunday.
The 26-year-old singer, who received the trophy for her Short n’ Sweet album, delivered a heartfelt speech while accepting the award.
Calling herself the “luckiest girl” in the world, Sabrina said, “Hello. Oh my goodness. There’s so many people here.”
“Well, thank you VMAs for this. This is my second moon man, which feels so crazy,” she continued. “I really don’t take for granted when you guys take the time out of your lives to listen to an album and if I’m lucky enough that that is my album.”
“Whether that be Short n’ Sweet, this album, or whether that be Man’s Best Friend, my new album, or whether it be one of my 29 before that,” quipped the beautiful songstress.
The Expresso hitmaker further said, “I’m just the luckiest girl in the world, and I do want to say to my incredible cast and dancers and my queens on stage. And my queens on stage with me tonight.”
Addressing how often the world can be “full of criticism” for her work, the Please Please Please songstress said, “This world, as we all know, can be so full of criticism and discrimination and negativity.”
“So to get to be a part of something so often, more than not, that is something that can bring you light, make you smile, make you dance and make you feel like the world is your f—— oyster, I am so grateful, so grateful to do that,” she added.
“So thanks, everyone here. But most importantly, my fans are just, you’ve been there for me. So thank you. And the last thing I’ll say is every artist here tonight that is nominated, that’s performing, that is just standing here looking amazing, you all mean so much to me and have inspired me so much,” said Sabrina.
Concluding the speech, the musician said, “So thanks for letting me be in this room with you. I love you all very much.”

Jesse Jo Stark insists ‘love’s not dead’ with Yungblud

Yungblud gets high praise from his girlfriend Jesse Jo Stark.
In a recent chat with People on the red carpet at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards the 34-year-old actress praised the Zombie singer, sharing he is her pick for “PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive.”
“He’s got the heart as well to match the outside,” She explained. “Insides match the outside.”
At the event Yungblud, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, performed a tribute to late rocker Ozzy Osbourne alongside Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith and Nuno Bettencourt.
Reflecting on her relationship with Yungblud, she gushed, “We’re really honest with each other. We always say love’s not dead, and I’m pretty intense, and he’s so open, and I think yin and yang. We have beautiful parents to look up to, and I believe in love. That’s it. We believe in love.”
Jesse noted Yungblud was “so excited to honor” the late Crazy Train singer.
“He’s so rock and roll to me and true and honest and he has the heart, he has the brains, and he has the f****** voice, so I don’t know who else would’ve done it,” she said of the honorary performance. “It’s beautiful and I think Ozzy would’ve said the same thing.”

King Charles is worried Prince Harry can ‘sabotage’ everything

King Charles understands a lot is at stake as he prepares to meet Prince Harry.
His Majesty, who is set to meet his estranged son in September, knows the set up requires a lot from him on an emotional level.
Royal biographer Tom Bower reveals: “Harry has a huge mountain to overcome.”
He adds: “On a human basis, he used to get on very well with Charles, so particularly from Harry’s perspective, he needs reconciliation. But time is not on their side.”
“There would be huge levels of emotion involved if they meet. Whatever Charles is facing, he would much prefer to have a good relationship with his son, so I’m sure he wants reconciliation. But he must bear in mind that he’s dealing with someone who could sabotage everything and embarrass him enormously.”
“The fear with the court case was that Harry could invent something the King said about the case — and it would cause a constitutional crisis,” Tom claims. “That fear has prevented any meeting until now, but even now the case is over, the fear still remains.”
