Pete Davidson shares emotional turning point on his road to recovery

Pete Davidson got candid about her sobriety journey.

During an appearance on the latest episode of Theo Von’s This Past Weekend podcast, the Saturday Night Live alum reflected on a heart-wrenching conversation with his mother, Amy Waters Davidson, that helped him to get sober.

“My mom’s the most supportive person in the world,” shared Pete, who reportedly checked into rehab at least twice last year due to mental health issues.

He further said, “it got to a point where she called me when I was in rehab and she was like, ‘My biggest fear is that I will turn on the news and I’ll see that my son has died.’”

Praising Amy as “so supportive,” the comedian said that his mother “wants to always have positivity around.”

“That killed me,” said Pete. “So I was like, ‘Alright, can’t die until she’s dead.’”

The 31-year-old actor further said that he doesn’t want his mother to face more heartbreak after his father’s death. For those unversed, Scott Davidson died during the terrorist attacks in New York City on September 11.

“I’d have to be a f–king sociopath to not get my s–t together,” said The Rookie star.

Before concluding his conversation, Pete shared that his mother and so many of his loved ones have helped him get sober.

For those unversed, Pete and his girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, are currently expecting their first child.

Robert Plant plans for something ‘really worth doing’

Robert Plant not interested in being ‘a big deal anymore’

Robert Plant, the legendary Led Zeppelin star is no longer interested in being “a big deal anymore.”

Currently making music with a group of acoustic performers called Saving Grace, he loves the lack of “stress” in their collaboration.

The 77-year-old musician is only interested in doing things that are “worth” it, regardless of the size of the project.

Robert told The Sun newspaper: “I can’t say I have the ambition to be a big deal any more. Because I’ve been in so many big deal situations…”

“I’ve walked away from so many situations. At this time in my life, it has to be something really worth doing — I don’t just want to be hanging on,” he added.

“These are great people. I see Saving Grace as a beautiful, no stress, no bludgeoning thing. There were no big announcements when we started,” the Stairway to Heaven talent mentioned to the outlet.

Robert also confessed that being Led Zeppelin’s front man was “a very precarious and sensitive place to be — and overwhelming.”

“Ego played a part but it was so momentary. Mostly, it was fear of being in that position. If any of us four guys weren’t on it, where would we have been?” the singer stated.

He recalled, “There was nowhere to hide in those days and we didn’t have a support structure behind us.”

Robert Plant, who was joined in the band, Led Zeppelin, by Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and the late John Bonham, has also admitted it was very difficult for him when he first went solo after the band split due to their drummer’s death in 1980.

Miley Cyrus reveals how she can change ‘drastically’

Miley Cyrus talks about being ‘specifically non-specific’

Miley Cyrus just got candid about being “specifically non-specific in everything.”

The 32-year-old stated that she is usually never certain of herself and everything in her life, revealing that she can change her mind “drastically” at any moment.

In a conversation with Vogue magazine, Miley stated: “I think maybe is more of a powerful word than we give it credit for. Because when you block something with a yes or a no, then you don’t invite in something that could be a maybe.”

“I think people associate me with being a very definitive person. But actually, in regard to spirituality, I am kind of specifically non-specific in everything. At any moment, anyone or anything could change my mind drastically,” the Flowers hitmaker added.

Miley also revealed that she likes doing casual house chores to escape the pressures of being under the spotlight.

She said: “I am joyful when I’m organising and cleaning – it never feels like a task to me.”

The Wrecking Ball singer continued, “Everything I do in my life is a little bit intense, but it has to be holistic. And that’s why my eras, they’re not a costume, they’re actually like a metamorphosis or a true evolution for me personally.”

“I’ve even gained the name Queen of Pristine because in every corner, every drawer, every friendship, every family dynamic, everything is just getting an upgrade in the cleanup,” she further revealed.

Earlier this year, Miley Cyrus admitted that she was “proud” of her career, telling Pamela Anderson, “I’ve had so many pivots and evolutions and – some might say detours – within my path. But it always ends up coming back around to make the next stage of what we are – something that’s more potent, something that’s more real.”

“Funnily enough when I look back, all the mistakes, anything I was unsure of or I didn’t understand, I am so proud of every moment and now every stage of my life,” she concluded at that time.
