Antonio Banderas meets up with ‘lifelong friend’, ex Melanie Griffith
Antonio Banderas has shared a heartwarming family photo from a Los Angeles reunion with ex-wife Melanie Griffith and their daughter Stella, and his caption said everything about how the former couple have chosen to handle life after divorce.
The actor, 65, posted the snap on Instagram on Monday, 27 April, showing himself beaming alongside Stella, 29, Griffith, 68, and Stella’s husband Alex Gruszynski.
Banderas leaned into his daughter as she threw her head back laughing, while Griffith and Stella held hands and Gruszynski rested his head on Griffith’s shoulder.
“A lovely and fun moment yesterday in Los Angeles with my son-in-law Alex, my daughter Stella, and my ex-wife and lifelong friend, Melanie,” Banderas wrote in his caption.
The warmth in the post reflects a dynamic Banderas has spoken about openly for years.
In 2018, he told PEOPLE: “Even if we are divorced, she is my family and I will love her until the day I die. We have been in contact all these years and we managed to do a separation that is very elegant.”
He added at the time that keeping things harmonious for their children was always the priority.
“Our kids are enjoying that and that is very important for both of us. Our kids are priority No. 1.”
Griffith, for her part, has also spoken warmly about staying close with the men she has loved. “I love them with all my heart,” she said in 2020.
Banderas and Griffith first encountered each other at the 1989 Oscars and reconnected on the set of Two Much in 1995.
They married the following year and welcomed Stella before Griffith filed for divorce in 2014, citing irreconcilable differences.
The divorce was finalised in 2015. Banderas has remained close not only with Griffith but also with her daughter Dakota Johnson, whom she shares with ex-husband Don Johnson.

Addison Rae’s father arrested under major alleged felony
Addison Rae’s father, Monty Lopez, has been arrested in Louisiana on a major felony charge following an investigation at his home.
Online records from the Lafayette Police Department confirmed that the 50-year-old was booked on Tuesday, 28 April, for the possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
The arrest comes just days after officers were originally called to his property on Thursday, 23 April, to attend to a mental health complaint, an incident that reportedly evolved into a criminal probe.

This latest legal trouble follows a string of recent run-ins with the law for Lopez.
In February, records surfaced showing he had been arrested for an obscenity incident dating back to August 2024 at a local Walgreens.
He faced further serious allegations in July 2025, when he was accused of exposing himself in a public place.
Charged with felony obscenity and a sex crime at the time, Lopez pleaded not guilty and was released on a £1,990 ($2,500) bond.

Channing Tatum on ex Zoë Kravitz’s engagement to Harry Styles: ‘Surprised’
Channing Tatum was caught off guard by news of his ex Zoë Kravitz’s engagement to Harry Styles, but sources say he is not losing any sleep over it.
“He was surprised when he heard the news, like anyone would be,” a source told Page Six .
“But he didn’t really think too much about it. He hasn’t heard anything directly and they’re not in regular contact, but if Zoë is happy, he’s happy for her.”
The insider was clear that Tatum, 46, has his own life to focus on.
“Channing has really moved on and is in a great place with Inka [Williams],” the source said, referring to the Australian model he has been dating since early 2025.
“He really cares about her, things are serious between them and he sees it as something longterm. He’s just focused on his own life right now.”
Tatum and Kravitz, 37, first got together in 2021 after meeting on the set of her directorial debut Blink Twice, announcing their engagement in 2023 before splitting in October 2024 after three years together.
Kravitz and Styles, 32, are said to have got engaged after eight months of dating, with a source telling Page Six that the former One Direction star is “completely smitten” and that Kravitz “is on cloud nine.”
Tatum’s Instagram activity in the days following the announcement raised eyebrows.
He shared a poem attributed to writer John Roedel that began: “My brain and / heart divorced / a decade ago / over who was / to blame about / how big of a mess / I have become.”
Later that same day, his Instagram Stories featured a female fighter with a bruised and bloody face captioned: “Didn’t go the way I wanted.”
Whether the posts were connected to the engagement news or simply coincidental timing, Tatum has not commented publicly.

King Charles opens Congress speech with ‘everything in common except language’
King Charles began his historic address by thanking the American people for the warmth of their welcome, alongside Queen Camilla, saying that for 250 years the United States and United Kingdom have remained closely intertwined.
He then quoted Oscar Wilde with a touch of dry humour: “We have really everything in common with America nowadays except, of course, language!”
The King acknowledged a period of “great uncertainty” facing both nations, referencing recent violence in Washington in a sober reminder of the fragility of public life.
With steady emphasis, he declared that such acts “will never succeed,” stressing that despite differences both countries remain aligned in protecting citizens and honouring those who serve.
Charles repeated Donald Trump’s own words back: “The bond of kinship and identity between America and the United Kingdom is priceless and eternal. It is irreplaceable and unbreakable.”
In a more personal reflection, the monarch recalled his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who addressed the chamber in 1991, saying he was honoured to continue that legacy and to bring “the highest regard and friendship of the British people” to the States.
He joked that when addressing the UK Parliament, “an age-old tradition” still involves taking a Member of Parliament “hostage” at Buckingham Palace until the monarch is safely returned.
Everyone started laughing. He continued in the same tongue-in-cheek spirit, adding that in modern times guests are “looked after rather well” -often to the point that they “do not want to leave.”
Turning to the Speaker, he quipped: “I don’t know, Mr Speaker, if there were any volunteers for that role today,” prompting further chuckles from assembled lawmakers.
