Pakistan Under-19 cricket team mentor and former national captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has criticised India over “unethical conduct” during their ACC Men’s Asia Cup 2025 final.

The Green Shirts thumped their arch-rivals in the final on Sunday, sparking scenes of jubilation in the Pakistani camp in Dubai.

Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, Sarfaraz slammed the Indian team’s behaviour during the final.

“India’s behaviour regarding the game was not good, and the Indian team’s conduct in cricket was unethical,” he said. “But we celebrated the victory with sportsmanship, because there should always be sportsmanship in cricket; what India did is their own action.”

Cricketing relations between the two neighbouring countries have remained tense due to geopolitical tensions.

In September, India’s Suryakumar Yadav snubbed customary handshakes with Pakistani captain Salman Ali Agha and players during their three Asia Cup 2025 games, including the final.

The absence of the traditional handshake at the conclusion of the matches drew global attention, with observers pointing to a lack of sportsmanship and game spirit from India.

The Indian team also refused to collect the Asia Cup 2025 trophy from Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Mohsin Naqvi after defeating Pakistan in the final by five wickets.

The move reportedly came on the directives of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

‘Cash reward of Rs10m for each team member’

Later, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced a cash reward of Rs10 million for each team member in recognition of their historic achievement.

PM Shehbaz announced the reward during a luncheon hosted for the U19 Asia Cup-winning side at the Prime Minister’s Office.

The premier also announced Rs2.5 million for the support staff.

“You gave the opposition a defeat they could not even imagine. We defeated India in Bunyan-um-Marsoos,” he told the players and the support staff.

Acknowledging the side’s triumph, PM Shehbaz said that the Green Shirts had lifted the nation’s head with pride, adding, “You have won the hearts of 240 million people.”

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Mohsin Naqvi said that the credit for the victory in the tournament goes to the team for staying focused on the game.

He also noted that the cricket board was building a High-Performance Centre in Lahore, which would benefit the players.

Trump shares racist video depicting Obamas as ‘monkeys’ in election conspiracy post

Trump shares racist video depicting Obamas as ‘monkeys’ in election conspiracy post

U.S. President Donald Trump started an immediate and widespread condemnation early Friday, February 6, after he posted a video on his Truth Social Platform.

The video depicts former U.S. President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama as monkeys.

The one-minute video, which propagates the false conspiracy theory that election company Dominion Voting Systems helped steal the election, ends with a two-second clip of the smiling faces of the Obamas morphed onto the faces of monkeys dancing to the music.

The company, Dominion, has reportedly settled a $787.5 million defamation case against the news organization Fox News.

The post was part of more than 60 posts of a social media spree that Trump posted overnight.

Before facing public backlash, it was liked a thousand times by Trump’s supporters.

Several American politicians and media personalities condemned Trump’s behaviour.

Office of California Governor Gavin Newsom stated: “Disguisting behaviour, Every single Republican must denounce this. Now.”

Political strategist Adam Parkhomenko wrote: “This is overt racism. Full stop…. This is who he is.”

The incident brings overtly racist imagery back into the center of U.S. political discourse, prompting outrage over its targeting of the nation’s first black First Family. Trump’s prodigious social media session also featured reposted falsehoods about the 2020 election, as well as his suggestion to add his likeness to Mount Rushmore.

Bad Bunny promises Super Bowl Halftime ‘huge party’ for everyone

The anticipation for the Super Bowl Halftime Show is getting to fever-pitch heights as Bad Bunny is gearing up for the dazzling show on February 8, 2026.

Bad Bunny outlines the key details at the Super Bowl Halftime Show press conference on February 5.

The Puerto Rican musician appeared for an official interview before making waves at the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Bad Bunny, while teasing his fans, said, “I really, as I said, want people to have fun. It’s going to be a huge party, it’s going to be what people can always expect from me, I don’t know if this is something.”

Addressing his fan’s confusion about following Spanish lyrics, Bad Bunny continued, “It’s going to be fun. It’s going to be easy. People only have to worry about… I know that I told them that they had four months to learn Spanish. They don’t even have to learn Spanish. It’s better if they learn to dance. That’s the only thing they need to worry about and enjoy. And of course, choose your team at the game.”

He offered a sneak peek into what’s going on for the big day, saying he’s getting ready for his performance by “eating smashburgers” and “[thinking] about the Super Bowl Halftime Show at 4 a.m.”

Feeling the heat of America’s favorite sport, he admitted, “Wake up, work out, [drink] my coffee, not think too much about it. Last night, I couldn’t sleep because I was thinking about it. But yeah, I want to think that it’s just 30 minutes doing something that I love, that I like, and it’s just like that.

Bad Bunny only has one message for his fans: enjoy the vibe at Super Bowl LX. He said, “I’m trying to enjoy it and I know that I’m going to have fun. All the crew, all the people. They’re going to have fun that day. That’s what I’m trying to focus on. Just enjoy the moment, enjoy what is happening, what I’m doing. Trying not to put pressure or something on it.”

For the unversed, Bad Bunny made an appearance at Super Bowl LIV in 2020, along with Jennifer Lopez and Shakira.

The Super Bowl Halftime Show will kick off between 7:30 and 9 p.m. ET on NBC from Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, California, on February 8, 2026.

Legendary Nokia N8 phone coming back to life in 2026, thanks to THIS firmware project

Legendary Nokia N8 phone coming back to life in 2026, thanks to THIS firmware project

Legendary Nokia N8 phone coming back to life in 2026, thanks to THIS firmware project

The legendary Nokia N8 is about to be revived thanks to a new custom firmware project called Reborn, which is breathing new life into Nokia’s classic phone.

The revival comes as many of us might have long forgotten our old Symbian phones, a move which is expected to restore the N8’s lost former glory.

This Nokia phone made a mark in 2010 for its impressive hardware, featuring a “touchscreen monoblock” design with a powerful 12MP Carl Zeiss camera and a Xenon flash that could rival many contemporary smartphones.

The reason for its decline became Symbian, an operating system originally designed for physical buttons rather than touch input.

As iPhone and Android began to dominate the market, Nokia tried to fight back with Nokia Belle, an enhanced user interface, and by the time it was ready, the update servers had started shutting down.

This could be evident if you somehow find an N8 today and get irked since it is slow, outdated, and filled with broken app links.

But now over fifteen years later, the developer community has stepped in, introducing the new ROM that addresses the primary issues of the original Nokia N8 device and is based on Nokia Belle, the last version of Symbian released by Nokia.

The developers have also designed a functioning, updated app store, making the N8 a usable phone which was formerly a mere collectable, finally allowing it to showcase its capabilities.

A recent video of the nostalgic Nokia N8 is out there pleasing millions of eyeballs, demonstrating assembling a working N8 and installing the new software, revealing a smooth interface and a fully operational camera.

But if somebody, by any chance, decides to try this, they must have a backup plan, as recent projects have shown that Windows 10 drivers can dispute older Nokia flashing tools, leading to a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD).

It’s also noteworthy that many N8s may have deteriorated hardware, but their revamped design allows to swap parts to create a fully functional device.
