Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner slams major accusation by ex Ray J
Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner have filed court declarations flatly denying accusations from Ray J and his mother that they orchestrated the release of the infamous 2007 tape — and Ray J has fired back, accusing both women of lying under oath.
In declarations filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, both Kardashian and Jenner called Ray J’s claims false.
Jenner stated: “As a mother, the notion that I orchestrated or produced sex tapes involving my daughter, or was in any way involved in the creation or distribution of any sex tapes, is not only entirely untrue but deeply offensive and harmful and has haunted me for decades.”
She added: “I was absolutely heartbroken, crushed and devastated as a mother to see my daughter in this situation where her most intimate and private moments were exposed to the world.”
Kardashian, 45, said in her own declaration that she had spent considerable money, including therapy and fees for communications, legal, and strategic advisers, to counter what she describes as Ray J’s false narrative.
“His claim that I had a plan with my mother and others to release a sex tape, defraud the public, and file a ‘fake’ lawsuit against the porn company that released it to ‘create buzz’ is a lie,” she stated.
Ray J, 45, was having none of it.
Speaking to TMZ, he said the pair had “completely lied about everything” and questioned what consequences should follow.
“Are [Kim and Kris] out of their f–king minds? The fact of the matter is, if you lie like that under oath, don’t you go to jail? Don’t you get fined?”
He also cited his two children with estranged wife Princess Love, daughter Melody and son Epik, saying they “don’t deserve to grow up thinking their dad did something like revenge [film] or hurt someone on purpose. That’s not the truth, and I’m not going to let that narrative follow them through their lives.”
His mother, Sonja Norwood, also weighed in via Facebook, directing her comments squarely at Jenner.
“I am no longer going to sit back and watch my son be ‘dogged’ on social media over this matter when Ray J and I, Kris and Kim, and many others know the truth,” she wrote.
“And Kris, momager, you say you did not orchestrate the commercial release of the tape. Then who did?”
She vowed to support her son “however long it takes” and “all the way to the doorstep of God’s judgment” if necessary.
The legal battle has been escalating for months.
Kardashian and Jenner sued Ray J over racketeering claims in October 2025, after which Ray J filed his own lawsuit against them in November 2025, alleging they were responsible for releasing the tape, claims he first made publicly in 2022.

Vanessa Williams reveals why she always plays negative roles
Vanessa Williams has a very simple philosophy about why she keeps saying yes to the most deliciously difficult women in television and theatre, and it comes down to one thing: not being afraid.
The 63-year-old appeared on The Happy Grownup Podcast, where host Hal Rubenstein cut straight to it: “Why do you keep playing b–ches?”
Williams laughed and got straight to the point.
“You know, I think you have to not be afraid, because some people are like, ‘Oh I want to be liked.’ Well, why have a career if you just take roles that you want to be liked in? That’s ridiculous.”
The list of formidable women she has inhabited is a long one.
There was Wilhelmina Slater, the gloriously self-absorbed creative director of Mode on Ugly Betty.
Then came Renee Perry, the devious troublemaker she played on Desperate Housewives.
She is currently playing Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada musical on London’s West End.
And she traces the trajectory back further, to the 2000 TV movie A Diva’s Christmas Carol, in which she played a gender-flipped Ebony Scrooge.
“A Diva’s Christmas Carol, that was the first one, probably,” she said.
Beyond the attitude, Williams says these characters give her something most roles simply cannot.
“They have the most delicious lines, always. I mean, every day, I’ll read a script, I’m like ‘That’s hilarious. Oh, that’s really terrifying. I want to do that.’ It’s fun for me.”
She also credits having the “chutzpah” and “gravitas” to pull these larger-than-life figures off.
“I take risks. I think you have to put yourself out there when you’re playing somebody who’s larger than life and not afraid to step up to the plate and be a heavy hitter.”
Williams first came to public attention in 1984 as the first Black person to be named Miss America, before pivoting to a music career and earning 11 Grammy nominations, including song and record of the year for her 1992 number one hit Save the Best for Last.
She made her Broadway debut in Kiss of the Spider Woman in 1994 and received a Tony nomination for The Witch in the 2002 revival of Into the Woods.

Stephen criticizes Megan Thee Stallion for cheating allegations against Klay
Stephen A. Smith weighed in on Megan Thee Stallion’s breakup with Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson, and he’s not holding back.
On his Straight Shooter show, the ESPN host questioned why Megan chose to make details of the split public, particularly her allegations of infidelity.
“I don’t know what happened in their relationship. Don’t wanna know, ain’t none of my damn business and none of y’all’s either,” Smith said. “But Megan Thee Stallion made it so… Why? How come you just couldn’t break up and go on your merry way?”
Smith argued that personal matters should be kept away from the public eye, suggesting that even if wrongdoing occurred, it didn’t need to be revealed publicly.
He sharpened his tone at one point, saying, “These women just chirp, chirp, chirping all over the damn place.”
The commentary sparked debate online, with clips of Smith’s remarks circulating widely.
Some fans defended Megan’s right to speak her truth, while others echoed Smith’s call for discretion.
The fallout came after Megan confirmed the breakup through a representative, citing a lack of trust.
She alleged Thompson’s infidelity, though the NBA star has not publicly addressed the situation.
WNBA player Lexie Brown also stepped in to deny speculation about her involvement.
