Lili Reinhart remembers healthscare: ‘I cried through my pain’

Lili Reinhart has opened up about a frightening health journey that led to her diagnosis with both endometriosis and adenomyosis, revealing that a single word in a Google search brought her to tears in the middle of the night.

In a personal essay for Elle magazine published on Thursday, 12th March, the Riverdale actress, 29, detailed the lengthy process of trying to get answers about chronic bladder pain she had been experiencing.

Despite seeing around eight doctors, not one had raised the possibility of endometriosis as a cause, until her pelvic floor therapist mentioned it.

“None of the eight or so doctors I had seen before her had mentioned it,” she wrote.

She eventually brought it up with her urogynecologist, who referred her to a specialist in minimally invasive gynaecological care. Tests followed, including an ultrasound and an MRI.

Her initial results came back showing no endometriosis, but did flag adenomyosis.

When Reinhart looked up the condition, one listed symptom stopped her in her tracks: infertility.

“I had no plans to become pregnant within the next few years, but I know I want kids eventually and suddenly the desires I had for my future felt disrupted,” she wrote.

She went home and woke up her boyfriend Jack Martin.

“He asked me what happened, but I didn’t have the words or energy to explain it in the moment. He just held me while I cried through my pain, confusion and frustration.”

The road to a definitive answer was not straightforward.

Her doctor raised the possibility of a hysterectomy to manage pain, while a second opinion from an endometriosis surgeon recommended laparoscopic surgery to investigate further.

Reinhart’s own gynaecologist cautioned that the surgery might find nothing, and that endometriosis often grows back, a particular concern given Reinhart’s interest in egg freezing.

She ultimately went ahead with the surgery, and the surgeon confirmed she did have endometriosis.

“In an instant, I felt validated. My pain, discomfort and suffering for over a year was no longer an unknown question,” she wrote.

Reinhart recovered with loved ones around her and was well enough to travel to see family over the holidays.

Stephen criticizes Megan Thee Stallion for cheating allegations against Klay

Stephen A. Smith weighed in on Megan Thee Stallion’s breakup with Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson, and he’s not holding back.

On his Straight Shooter show, the ESPN host questioned why Megan chose to make details of the split public, particularly her allegations of infidelity.

“I don’t know what happened in their relationship. Don’t wanna know, ain’t none of my damn business and none of y’all’s either,” Smith said. “But Megan Thee Stallion made it so… Why? How come you just couldn’t break up and go on your merry way?”

Smith argued that personal matters should be kept away from the public eye, suggesting that even if wrongdoing occurred, it didn’t need to be revealed publicly.

He sharpened his tone at one point, saying, “These women just chirp, chirp, chirping all over the damn place.”

The commentary sparked debate online, with clips of Smith’s remarks circulating widely.

Some fans defended Megan’s right to speak her truth, while others echoed Smith’s call for discretion.

The fallout came after Megan confirmed the breakup through a representative, citing a lack of trust.

She alleged Thompson’s infidelity, though the NBA star has not publicly addressed the situation.

WNBA player Lexie Brown also stepped in to deny speculation about her involvement.

Olivia Wilde recent appearance worries fans

Olivia Wilde’s latest red-carpet appearance has ignited widespread debate over health, beauty standards and Hollywood pressures.

The actress and director attended the 69th San Francisco International Film Festival this week to promote her new film The Invite.

But instead of the film taking center stage, the 42-year-old’s noticeably thinner frame drew alarm from fans and commentators.

Images and video clips circulating online show her face appearing gaunt, with pronounced cheekbones.

Social media reactions ranged from “She looks exhausted” to speculation about possible use of weight loss drugs such as Ozempic. m

Some medical professionals even invoked the term “Ozempic face” to describe her appearance, warning about the risks of rapid weight loss.

The conversation quickly broadened into a critique of Hollywood’s relentless beauty standards.

Observers noted that Wilde’s situation highlights the pressure women in the industry face to maintain a certain image, often at the expense of wellbeing.

Away from the red carpet, Wilde was also spotted with ex-husband Jason Sudeikis, dropping off their children, Otis and Daisy, at school.

The former couple finalized custody arrangements in 2023 after ending their seven-year engagement in 2020.

On the personal front, Wilde has reportedly begun dating Caspar Jopling, the ex-husband of singer Ellie Goulding, following her split from Harry Styles.
